We walked in during lunch on a rainy Thursday with no expectations considering the place is brand new and was fairly empty. In my opinion, new private restaurants have a charm to them. Our waitress was quite new and you can tell. However, she was personable and effective. More importantly, the food was excellent. I had the lunch tacos and the rest of the table had various different types of chimichangas. Everyone was satisfied. They served chips and salsa when we sat down.. This is a standard offering when dinning at Mexican, but it was a nice touch nonetheless. They gave a few free samples (I dont recall exactly what it was) but everything was excellent. I would note, that you should not expect free samples :). However, we were the first customers of the day and the restaurant was still brand new. The point is, the food was great. One strange experience (sort of complaint) - I would urge the owners to rereview the menu prices as they correlate with the respective items value. Reason being.. My lunch tacos cost more then the chimichangas, yet the quantity of food was considerably less. One person at the table described his meal stating "the Chimichanga is so big it looks like a chimichanga ate a burrito". Everyone had left overs. The tacos, as usually expected were much lighter of a meal. However, I would recommend adding a 3rd taco or charging less. Overall, good location, great service & great food. I will definitely go back next time I am in town.

This place is great. I dont know if its the concentration of good restaurants on North Side, the existence of Tapas (though its a different kind of place), or what else, but this place should have more patronage than it does. Food and quality of service are all great.

Delicious authentic Mexican dishes in a comfortable airy setting with friendly staff. The carnitas are the best Ive had, with tender pork chunks and wonderful spicing, and the tacos al pastor are yummy! Plus its a BYOB.
