Exceeded expectations. Drawn in by the chocolate covered bacon special, we were intrigued but didnt expect to bite at the opportunity. Undisclosed pricing throughout the store left us with the impression that the cost had to be exorbitant. Yet to the contrary, the treats were actually quite affordable. With an ice cream sandwich the size of a meal replacement for two clocking in a $6. When we learned the chocolate covered bacon was not some pithy piece of American bacon but a thicker meatier slab akin to British bacon for $3, we were sold. While enjoying this tasty treat, we observed the shop get busier. While the counter attendant was occupied with a customer, others lingered unable to inquire about the pricing of items they were interested in. They ultimately left, likely arriving at the same pricing assumption we had previously shared. Yet had they known the prices were actually quite reasonable, I suspect they may have stayed to complete their purchase.

Delicious and often adorable treats made with quality ingredients and a touch of whimsy. After eating afew pieces from the Lab, I find myself turning my nose up at conventional store-bought confections for weeks afterwards. You can taste the difference when conscientiously sourced, high-quality ingredients are part of the picture. My wife and I always find something new to try with each visit (along with our old favorites of course), and we find ourselves planning our purchases for the next trip before weve stepped out the door. The Chocolate Lab is a warm, pleasant place to stop in at, and the customer service is always top notch. I cant think of a better place in the valley to purchase a tasty gift for someone you care about, or grab a treat yourself (ideally both).

Zero stars. Worst customer service. I called to order a gift basket, and the owner could not be bothered to keep smaller gift baskets on hand... and seemed to be bothered if she would need to go out and buy some. Tried to push a bucket with fall leaves for a birthday basket...really! You have to spend hundreds of dollars to get a gift basket. She also does not own a car, so I had to wait and pay a premium for local delivery. Glad she could afford to suggest I go to Sherris Berries to order my chocolates!

The chocolate is good, but not worth the 2.95/lb price. The chocolate is good but not amazing. There is a lack of ingenuity in the selecion. There was the typical bland chocolate with a fruit filling. But nothing that showed the maker was willing to stretch themslvesx i.e. cayanne pepper truffle, earl gray tea enfused chocolate, etc. Just seemes bland. Good, but bland.

Arlene loves what she does, truly appreciates her customers, and produces amazing confections. What more could you ask for?! This shop offers a treat for the palette and a friendly stop as you make your way through town. Weve purchased everything from 2 pieces after dinner to 2 pounds as a gift, and you always leave feeling happy!

Small shop run by the owner and a few other people, came in with my girlfriend and the place was very dirty and untidy, prices are out of line for what you get, customer service was bad too waited and waited with staff clearly doing nothing but playing with their phones and not helping anyone.

Try the sea salt caramels. They are the BEST and available in milk or dark chocolate. Buy one or a box, well worth the price. Im also a fan of the dark chocolate champagne truffles and the chocolate zingers. A colleague cannot the thickly coated chocolate covered pretzels.

Ordered two large schocolate covered coconut easter eggs and they were delivered today. They were exactly what we wanted. Looked pretty and tasted wonderful. Will definitely order more!

Good chocolates...truffles and sea salt caramels were oh so good. Couldve spent a fortune but I dont want to see the dentist anytime soon. PS: dont miss the frozen treats.
