Even though this Bethlehem institution is open year-round, it is in the summer when “the Cup” truly shines. Situated on an odd triangular block on Linden Street, the two long sides are lined with picnic benches filled with ice cream lovers. While it attracts a young (near Liberty High) crowd, white haired people show up as well in a happy blend of folks enjoying local ice cream. Note: the ice cream shop down Linden, “Nuts About Ice Cream” is also great and has exotic flavors that this place doesn’t. We’re lucky to have both.

My husband and I absolutely LOVE The Bethlehem Dairy Store. They serve THE BEST soft serve ice cream I have ever had (even better than custard). A small is only $3 and worth is every time we pass by. The peach/black raspberry swirl flavor is fantastic (only available seasonally). Another seasonal flavor is the German Chocolate Cake Hard Pack Ice Cream - I stock this in my freezer because I crave it year round! Do not purchase the pre-packaged ice cream novelties, the stuff they make in house is divine.

Great little apparent Bethlehem icon. Been here a couple times on my visits to he area, and not been disappointed. The ice cream is SUPER CREAMY and silky. The almond joy has been my favorite to date. Lots of cone options. This place has a steady stream of patrons, so I think the label icon is probably well deserved. There is something for everyone here. Tonnes of novelty items as well if you dont want to just go with the classic ice cream option. Now always on my list to visit when in the area.

Love the flavor selection. Everything is made fresh on premises, and tastes fresh! You get great portions for your dollar, and you pay a decent and fair price. Theres a parking lot and on street parking. In addition to tables inside, theres also lots of benches outside. Theres usually a line that goes out the door, but it moves fast! The staff is super friendly as well. Its easy to see why this is a local favorite!

Great ice cream flavors, fast and friendly service, lets you taste before you purchase, the Strawberry cheesecake ice cream is amazing, also the Pineapple and coconut flavors are to die for. Have not had a chance to try their shakes but I am sure they are amazing as well. Great for kids who love Ice Cream, you can taste the love they put on making the Ice Cream so creamy and flavorful.

Perfect ice cream! My hubby has been searching for the perfect vanilla bean chocolate chip since she had it as a kid in New York... We found it here. We drive 1hr 6min to get to your shop, and decided to make it our fathers day ritual for forever ♡♡♡ let us know when you deliver!!! We wish we could come more often!!

Simple and classic ice cream store with locals approval! I hope to seem more new flavors, but the flavors that they have are good, and covers most grounds. The most that I like about this place is the atmosphere. Hot Summer days, outside of this place gets crowded by locals of all age, all background.

It was good. Way over rated thought. Plus its too hot and too crowded!! Tables arent able to be cleaned after each guest, so you have to clean them yourself, if your able to get a table. And if a little kid was sitting there, you will need to clean the seat before sitting down too.

Amazing homemade ice cream! They are open nice and late and all year long! One of my seasonal favorites is the pumkin cheesecake, which is amazing!! My boyfriend loves the soft serve pumkin as well! If you want the real deal ice cream than the cup is where its at !!

Simply creamy delicious ice cream that I have not been able to find anywhere else in the valley, it just cant be compared with. Not brayers, Ben and Jerrys or any other "big brand name " can come close to the creaminess and taste of this small mom and pop creamery

This ice cream is the best you will ever have. So many delicious flavors to choose from. They also have sundaes, milkshakes, Italian ice and other frozen treats. There is a line on summer nights but it moves quickly and the yummy desserts are well worth the wait.

The owner was rude, the place was crowded which was fine but if you cant handle a busy place you shouldnt own a popular ice cream place. He made me decide to leave instead of getting ice cream. I will not be going here again because of the attitude I was given.

Its a classic spot for locals in the Valley. Just a heads up, if you want to go on Friday night for a late night snack, dont bother. Yes its good, but not worth waiting 30 mins for. Go on at an odd time. Good stuff though.

The best spot in town for ice cream! Always the first place to stop for quality ice cream choices. Soft ice cream, hard ice cream, even giant chipwiches. Very crowded in the summer time but well worth the wait.
