I recently visited Apollo Grill with my grandparents, fiancé and 3 year old son. We went at 5 pm on a Saturday. We had made reservations, but when we initially got there isnt wasnt too busy, however it definitely picked up shortly after that. First, our waitress was wonderful. My son is allergic to peanuts, so she was constantly checking to make sure everything was okay for him. They brought out an adorable little cheese, raisin, fruit, and cracker plate out for him to hold him over before his food. They had a few items for kids, we went with the cheese pizza. Its definitely a little on the large side, but it made for great leftovers for him so I didnt mind! For an appetizer we got the crab mac & cheese and it was to die for!!! I will definitely be getting that again when I come back. I had coconut crusted scallops with orange jasmine rice, all of which was very good. Others in the group had a cheesesteak with fries, veal medallions with candy cane beets, purple potatoes & grilled asparagus, and another got a steak. They all loved their food! I did try the cheesesteak and fries - both were delicious! For dessert we had some sort of key lime cake, and my grandmother got a crumb tart of some kind. Both were so good! Overall we had an excellent time. The food was amazing and so was the service!! I highly recommend stopping here!

Apollo was a disappointment. Called on a Tues. for a Sat. reservation. They took my credit card info and threatened to charge $25/person for a no show. Got there on Saturday and was seated next to the bathroom at a booth with a FOLDING CHAIR to make 5 seats. A FOLDING chair!!! There were open tables out in the dining room and we were stuffed in the corner with a folding chair. For over a $200 bill a folding chair is an insult! Service was slow. Food was mediocre at best. The orange shallot sauce on the scallop entrée was disgusting. Only good part about the meal was the crab and asparagus bisque (which had very little crab meat). It was WAY overpriced for the quality. My brother was home visiting from Germany and I was embarrassed that I took him to Apollo. Never again.

Went there on a Saturday night with my husband and sat at the bar. Bartenders were all very nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. We decided to just share a few appetizers which we love to do because you can get a little taste of everything. We had the oysters on the half shell, scallops, shrimp cocktail, and carpaccio. The oysters were AWESOME! Some of the best Ive ever had. So fresh and the mignonet sauce was lovely. The shrimp on the shrimp cocktail were large, and also fresh. The carpaccio was amazing although I wish there was a little bit more to it. Still was tasty as any Ive ever had. If youre going to go with friends or a date I recommend sitting at the bar and sharing a few appetizers. Great job Apollo! We will be back.

Apollo is by far our favorite place to eat. We go at least once a month and usually find a seat at the bar. Most nights we stick to the appetizers (there are so many to choose from). While we have our usual favorites (the clams casino, filo wrapped asparagus, crackling asian chicken, black & blue tenderloin) we also try to branch out to some different items. we have never been disappointed with our meal there. And the staff are always friendly.

This place was incredible. The food was fantastic- all came out hot, fresh. Plenty of vegetarian options, and ranged from burgers, Indian shrimp, to nachos. The service was absolutely fantastic- attentive, thorough, and friendly. Even with our large party of 12 she was patient and happy to help. They even gave us a congratulations dessert on the house since we were celebrating a graduation! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped by with friends while visiting in the area. The food was ok, nothing spectacular but tasty. I ordered one of their signature salads and the vegetables looked like there werent really fresh. Had to taste to it and was bland. I asked to return it and gotten another one instead which was much better. Too bad they brought the first one in the first place. The waitresses was warm and attentive which was great.

We visited for dinner on a saturday night, party of 4. The service was good but the food was not. The menu is HUGE and all over the place. There is no clear direction with this restaurant, from the food to the decor. You can not have that many dishes and not have frozen everything. Each person got a dish that was very different, and we did not love any of them. The wine was also not great, definitely and old bottle.

One of my wifes and I favorite places to eat in the Lehigh Valley. the atmosphere is very nice in part due to the frequent changing art on display, the light and music of the place is comfortable and the noise level allows for a pleasant meal and a conversation. The food and service are excellent and is good to see a restaurant that offers the option of half portions for those who dine light like my wife.

This is one of the finest restaurants in the Lehigh Valley. It offers fresh, beautifully-plated food to dining guests. There’s a full bar and local beers on draft. People talk about the divers scallops and the 5-oz filet mignon. People preferring to select vegetarian and vegan meals can find good choices here with advice by a server.

Arguably one of the best restaurants in the Lehigh Valley. Great bar crowd, terrific menu, excellent service, exceptional entrees and tremendous appetizers. You wont go wrong with this restaurant, but you better make a reservation in advance, particularly on Thursday, Friday or Saturday nights!

My fiancee is vegan, and when we mentioned the scant vegan options on the menu, the waitress talked with the chef, who made a wonderful off-menu meal for her. My crab cake sandwich was amazing as well, and the price was very reasonable for what we got. Well definitely be back often.

I went there one time because of the reviews but unfortunately my food and my wifes food was extremely salty, almost inedible (and I like really salty food). Besides that, the food is a little bit expensive for what it is. We may have had bad luck, i dont know.

My husband and I really enjoy the Apollo grill. The burrata was a great appetizer that uses different flavors that the usual tomatoes; the short ribs were also very good and the grits were creamy (almost like mashed potatoes)...and Im not a huge grits fan.

Had dinner for 4 last Saturday night. Ordered the special pizza app with shredded crab meat and the special fish dinner as entree. Both were delish- glad the Apollo is not in Allentown or we would be broke! Happy but broke. Staff is excellent as well

When I worked on Main St this was my #1 suggestion of where to eat. You really cant go wrong with an extensive menu, specials, great cocktails, and great service. The atmosphere is meh but it is a big space that is hard to work with. go here!
