This Starbucks achieves what their business model is after: a community gathering place. The space is set up to accommodate people getting together, whether it be a casual meeting with a friend, a date, a tutoring session (so many tweens learning Hebrew in there!), or individual or group studying sessions. All of these go on regularly and comfortably as the front is set up as a more casual space, while the back half of the store contains many individual tables better for focused working. The coffee and service are both good, which I have come to expect from most any Starbucks.

The blonde roast is great. However, the barista Monica has a short fuse. Yesterday, she was visibly upset when I changed my mind about how I wanted to pay for my coffee. Today, she was upset because I changed my mind about a lemon loaf. You will be okay as long as you do not change your mind about any part of your order. Her Co worker, I didnt notice her name...but she made excuses about why she didnt need to wash her hands after sitting on the floor and putting items in or out of a cabinet. The older taller gentleman was very pleasant and customer friendly.

This place is usually dead. I always ask for an unsweetened matcha and am always given a VERY sweet matcha drink. I think they are mixing a sweetener in with their powder matcha. This is unfortunate for me because there arent many options in this area (where I work). I only go here as a last resort, but will be avoiding coming here as much as possible! Im not trying to get fat off of secretly sweetened "unsweetened" drinks from Starbucks.

I love the Bala Cynwyd Starbucks. The management and employees are nice and efficient, the ambiance is pleasant, and the coffee is good. Sometimes the place is packed and my order doesnt come out immediately, but its apparent that the employees are always doing everything they can to provide excellent customer service.

Many seats/tables to sit and study. Bigger sbux than most in this area. Employees are super friendly, even on Christmas day. Free water always available- dont have to ask. Parking lot. Music is not blasting like most sbux.

I normally drink Starbucks however the staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable of there coffee. The only issue I have is parking however no one can control that in the Philadelphia area you just deal with it!

I think this was the best decaf Sumatra iced coffee Ive ever had at aby Starbucks!!! Was visiting the Preston & Steve show & stopped by to grab a beverage. I think my Barista was Bryan. He was awesome!!

Nice enough venue. Extremely rude service. After being short with several customers the two employees had openly loud banter behind the counter about a recent customer they didnt get along with.
