Ordered sushi and pai thai for take out. When to the bathroom (less than 7 minutes) order was done. Completely done, in a bag ready to leave. I tried to surprise my girlfriend at work but the pai thai which was awful. I called and they told me the noodles should be dry. I asked for store credit, thinking I would give them another chance.... they made me take the uneaten food back. When I was back the woman behind the counter argued about the quality of the pai thai. The place one block away knows how to make pai thai, and very well. In any case, I drove out of my way to return the dry old noodles with no flavor, also missing multiple ingredients. It was not until I started to make a seen in front of customers she gave me my money back for just the pai thai. The sushi appetizer was above average but I will never order from this place again. They completely destroyed my day and made no attempt to correct the situation other than blame me. They treated me as I had no idea about international food. Not till I pointed out there were no peanut or lime and the time frame for cooking noodles did she take me seriously. I believe if there were no customers coming in I would not have received a refund. After reviewing online reviews I guess it was my own fault for giving them an other chance. Unreal they are still in business.

What happened to this place??? Ive been coming to East for about 5 years. Really solid good chinese food with flavor. White meat chicken. Garlicy sauces. Whole chile peppers in entrees. One of the best hot and sour soup recipes Ive had in the city. Then a few months ago they changed chefs and now the food is utter tasteless slop. Soggy breading on generals chicken. No "hot" in the hot and sour soup.lo mein is grease and bland fried rice is hard and no vege.Everything is bland and just bad. Im assuming their are new owners, Whatever you changed, change it back. You suck now. We will never coming back.

Disrespectful & ungrateful managers,Tried to give them yet another shot, but they are still really, really RUDE!!! And totally lack customer service skills all around! Their food is extremely subpar, the egg rolls tasted like they had been fried, then thrown aside for 6 or so hours, and then refried in really dirty oil. So gross.The chicken with broccoli was a greasy mess. It tasted like it had been reheated as well. The kung pow chicken was also swimming in old grease.I have heard other people say they like it, but I really dont think I am going to give them another chance. Will not go back here .

Absolutely fantastic Chinese food with Japanese food offerings. This place has excellent vegetarian options including fake meat. I would consider myself a purveyor of general tsos chicken. I love it. Its what I always get. This place has the best general tsos vegetarian chicken dish. I like it better than the regular chicken one and the best part is that I can share it with my girlfriend who is an actual vegetarian. The crab Rangoons are decent but not the best. The egg roll was delightful. The cost is relatively cheap. All in all a very enjoyable experience coupled with a nice ambiance.

This is the most bland food I have ever had. We got the general tsos, pork fried rice, and egg rolls, I am not sure how they got it to taste like nothing. The general tsos chicken is just little dried up pieces of chicken in balls of dough covered in a blah sauce which tastes neither sweet or spicey. There is no way its just a batter they used, each piece is 80% dough. This place used to be great, but I will never go there again after this.

I used to live in Ambler and I got spoiled on this place. The take out containers are like tupperware, the food is absolutely incredible, and they have a full array of sushi to go along with the chinese. The owners are fluent in english and and are lovely people. Anytime I go through the area I stop in for a meal or get take out. I loveeeee this place!!! Try the general tsos chicken, its the best Ive ever had.

Always the prefect meal. My son and I would dine at East Cuisine every night if we could. The owners Vivian and Ray run an extremely courteous, clean and comfortable restaurant that is fairly priced and as tasty as any other Asian restaurant around. We love all the different choices of sushi and their amazing Pad Thai. Visit them for a pleasant eating experience that will have you longing for another visit!!

Ive tried this place once a year to see if it has improved since I see good reviews - so far everything that I have picked to eat is not good. Tried the shrimp with mixed vegetables and everything was mushy from being frozen too long... only thing fresh was the broccoli. I keep hoping because I like chinese food and there are not that many good ones out there but so far no luck.

We had spicy tofu (my favorite), an order of Generals chicken, and Ma-La Double Happiness (shrimp and scallops). Portions are plentiful and all tasted really good and nicely prepared, not greasy or smothered in sauce. They offer brown rice which is a preference for me and they are BYOB, a bonus. Its mostly typical but they also have Thai and sushi offerings which is appreciated.

Ordered the pupu platter, only ate the crab ragoon. Beef was mostly fat, ribs were super tough. The one shrimp I got was tough. The one and a half chicken wing segments i got were bland. The one piece of sweet and sour chicken was mostly batter. The one shrimp was tough, and the one crab ragoon was surprisingly good....If I didnt order with ubereats, I wouldve taken it back.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered a General Tsos chicken dish(12.79)and the quality of the chicken meat was disgusting and very bad. Got so frustrated that I want to write a review about them in google and yelp. EDIT: I got super sick after leaving this review, and Im 99% sure it was food poisoning. Will not be returning.

I have been coming here for years. The owners are wonderful, the sushi is great, the food is always fresh and really good. I get a lot of take-out from here, too! Thai green curry tofu is my current favorite, but try the hot and spicy tofu for a real eye-opener! Highly recommended.

Come here for lunch often. Great service, great food (both soup and entree), and a good price. Its close to work and I wouldnt even bother trying anywhere else.
