Third time visiting here because people keep giving great reviews. A 15 -20 min wait turned into 35. Oh well, they were busy. No drink order for 10 min. Girl finally drops 3 waters on the table and does not say anything. 5 min later a guy comes over " do you know what you want?" He was not friendly whatsoever, I believe we may have inconvenienced him. Did not get any drink orders because I guess it was time to order food. Taco salad was by far the worst I have ever had. Chips, a little bit of unseasoned meat, a little bit of cheese, sour cream and a whole bunch of lettuce. The small amount of salsa had no taste. I asked for more and got a tiny little cup. My salad was so dry and I needed something to put taste on it. I waited for our server, but never showed up, so I finally put ketchup on it for some kind of taste. My daughter had calamari off the appetizer menu and ended up with diarrhea almost immediately. My wife had a OK burger with no taste. Service absolutely sucked and for the first time in my history, I did not leave a tip. I dont understand what the big deal is about this place. After three time I give up. These guys should watch some restaurant shows on the FOOD channel. Learn about customer service. Put some taste in the food.

Yummy seafood. Stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of my innkeeper. Melted crab sandwich with side salad was delish. So good I went back for dinner later and had the crab cake appetizers and the halibut fish (minus the chips, sub a salad). Fish is fresh and local when possible. Many places have replaced halibut with pollock, red snapper or cod, but halibut is still my favorite. The fish was one of the best Ive tasted in years and Ive eaten at many places on the coast. Breading is light and not greasy. Salads are mixed greens, not a blob of head lettuce. Service is attentive even though it was packed at 8PM. That is a good sign since it is past tourist season at the beach this time of year. They have music most evenings until 9 when they close (as does just about everything in town). I have found another favorite place at the beach. One big room with a bar on one side. Umbrellas hanging from the ceiling are unusual. Prices are very reasonable considering you are at the coast. Will definitely return when I am back at the beach again.

So we ate across the street at the Luna. See my review. This place was hoppin on a Friday night. Band was awesome June Rushing Trio. The staff were fast friendly and smiling. We sat at the bar and were able to overhear the staff talking. I think everyone in this town is nice and happy???? These people are great. Its obvious why it is packed with a waiting line. We just stopped by for drinks a music. Glad we did. Jump ahead 24 hrs.... Came in Saturday night about 6. Full house again. Had the Caribbean Cache and seafood lasagna. Both were delicious. The cache was full of wonderful sweet heat. Plantains, lemons, prawns, halibut, scallops, black beans, spinach and a few other awesome spices. I felt like I was in the caribe. The seafood lasagna defies description except to say that it was magnifique. Very happy with the service. The crew was full of smiles and made us feel like we were special. I recommend that you come and experience this jewell.

We ate here for lunch. The atmosphere was nice and staff appeared friendly (it was a slow time of day), but the food was not as nice. We ordered seafood, as we were at the coast and we ended up with very small proportions for a rather high price. I got the salmon and it was a small piece, overly cooked, with unflavored plain ole white rice (small spoonful) and what they called veggies (sauteed onions and 1 small piece of brocolli). It was disappointing. My husband got the seafood lasagna, which said tasted good, but was also small in proportion for the cost. They forgot his salad, and provided him the same veggies I got. He got his salad after asking about it, and it looked pretty good, compared to the rest of the meal. I think if you order non-seafood items then you may have a better chance of getting more food for the cost. I also did not feel well after eating here. We will not go back.

A good solid local restaurant. We were here for dinner and lunch the next day. Dinner was great, with live music, good service, and solid food. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the music makes it lively and ties it all together. We had their bacon wrapped scallops for appetizer, and they were the best scallops weve had in a while. The halibut, topped with Dungeoness crab meat, was perfectly cooked; the seafood stew, albeit a little smaller than expected in portion, was also delicious. A pear hard cider and a Marionberry daiquiri rounds out the night. For lunch, we had the seafood lasagna, crab meat quesadilla, and razor clams. All very yummy, and worth the trip back. We also had the "only on tap" Spruce Tip Ale by local Wolf Tree Brewery - a delightful beer that was refreshing and flavorful... Like drinking a tree in a glass!

Stopped here due to the rave reviews on "Google Places." My question would be, were these people smoking crack when they wrote their reviews? The service was absolutely awful, forget about getting a refill on your drinks. Waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken and 14 to pay. Food was bland, uncreative, and over priced. Honestly it was about fast food quality. The place was dirty (dirty wet towels on the floor/cob webs/flies/dust) greasy (windows/doors) and the kitchen was a mess (noticed this while waiting for the bathroom). Ah...the bathroom...the drawings of fat, naked, pubic hair-clad women in the ladies room was far from appetizing. One of the workers reeked of BO. Bad experience. The only way I would ever go there again was if the food was free AND it was the last food place on earth. Wait...not even then.

My wife and I came for a late dinner. a table near the window opened up after we were seated and the waitress was glad to help us move to the new seats. The food was excellent and I had one of the best cheesburgers I have ever eaten - the meat was perfectly cooked and the roll was outstanding. My wife had the fish and chips - and the fish was of very good quality (fish not mushy) and fresh. Also the fish was not greasy - very well prepared. It came fast. Our waitress was extremely pleasant to the point that we commented this fact too her. She responded that it is a great place to work and she and the others like people. We split a desert - which was a perfect ending. We highly recommend this place.

We didnt get to spend much time here because we got in late and woke up with no power. There was a huge storm. We had pizza at the restaurant, delicious! We stayed in the kite room which looked super cool. It was kinda loud as the restaurant below was closing up and later on some people next door were being loud and annoying, possibly arguing. Then the storm came through and that room was LOUD. The windows whistled and howled all night. Didnt get much sleep and couldnt shower with no power. Still a cool place though. The view was .
