Great restuarant great service awesome enviroment the host was very cool and laid back it felt like home i loved the food we had filet mignon and they even gave me a cake made from goat cheese for my Birthday it was the best Birthday ever and te best restaurant i ever been to we do not get places like that here to eat at the waitress was awesome they are a little bit pricey but worth every cent im so glad we didnt go anywhere else it was the best also check out the bathroom it was very neat and interesting

Phenomenal! Larrupin was not at all what we expected: a gourmet restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Their appetizer plate was out of this world: delicious pumpernickel bread infused with cocoa, chicken liver pate that you gotta love even if liver aint your bag, fruit and goat chevre. Entrees were just as amazing and wine/beer selection was great too. add live music and great service and it was perfect!

"The" place to take visitors from out of town for delicious, relaxing fine dining an a quaint and slightly quirky (in a good way) atmosphere. Reservations are definitely encouraged, but you can often get a table without one. Not cheap, but always well worth the prices. Menu is online, plus they have several specials - usually including fresh local seafood - daily.

Put this in a big city, double the prices, and youd still have a three month waiting list. We both had a local fresh caught salmon. It was one of the best pieces of fish weve ever tasted. The sides and presentation were also impeccable. Totally unexpected for being in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommend checking this place out.

GREAT food, wonderful atmosphere. Their prime rib makes THE best leftovers (if you have any left :P). Good place to go out for a very nice dinner. Dress up a little bit, and go for a romantic date night! A must go-to every time we come back to visit Humboldt County. BTW: Their oysters and baked garlic are DE BOMB

Really good food! The seating at our table was very uncomfortable. We had a nice view of the backyard which was landscaped. Service was adequate. But for the prices charged, I expected to leave there happy with every aspect. As it was, the food bring the only bright spot, I cant imagine going back.

Cozy atmosphere, amazing food and wine selection. We come here every year for a big family dinner and are never disappointed. The filet with the gorgonzola sauce AND brandied mushrooms is out of this world. And I always come back to the coconut macadamia rice - so good. Highly recommend this spot!

Larrupin has achieved ambiance perfection. This is easily the most romantic place to have dinner in Humboldt County, but also a nice spot for larger parties. Great wines, excellent food, delicious desserts. You will want to make advance reservations, especially for larger parties.

Im happy to say that Larrupins is back to being one of the best restaurants in the area. Before this week the last time I had been there was about 7 years ago and at that time the restaurant had gone way down hill but it is back to being one of my favorite in the area.

Great menu. If you get the brisket, expect more fat than beef. Also, they have no childrens menu. The service was terrible. Glasses were without water often. Outdoor heaters barely worked. The cosmetic tarps outside were dripping water on me.

Absolutely first class! When you want to celebrate a special occasion, this is the place. Prices are higher than many other local places, but worth every penny. Superb food and attentive service in an eclectic atmosphere.
