I was doing some work in Woodburn and we were directed to this place for lunch. Its a no-frills setting and decor, right on 99 near Young St. in Woodburn. It has kind of a small sign so keep your eyes open wide. The delicious food is traditional Oaxacan fare and, since this area is home to sizable population of indigenous Oaxacans you can be assured that this is the real deal. In my opinion Oaxaca has the best regional food in Mexico. Two items that are very unusual to come by north of the border are flor de calabaza (squash flower) and huitlacoche (a mushroom that grows on the ears of corn or elotes). You can get either of these in quesadillas or other dishes and I would say its well worth the trip from Portland or the detour from I-5 if you are passing through. Plus the people are real nice.

Poor customer service. Ordered togo and received the entire order wrong. My quesadilla had literally no cheese. When I call they accused me of lying. Then after arguing for 30 mins I was told I could go in for a refund. I would have liked the order fixed but, after all the fighting I wanted nothing to do with them. They lost a good customer.
