Im rating this restaurant at 2 stars because we did have a very nice waitress. She actually wasnt a very good waitress. We barely saw her, but she was super sweet and friendly. Had it not been for her, it would be a 1 star review. The hamburger patties are frozen. Theyre the cheapest frozen puck patties that come in a tube from the freezer section.....the ones that come with freezer burn already. The person I was with got one of their bigger burgers, which they do make themselves.......pretty sure they are made in advance and frozen. (If not, they taste and feel like it and Skyline should probably consider a new meat vendor.) I didnt eat my burger. After we got our food, we didt see the waitress again until she was bringing our check. She asked if the burger was ok and I told her it was obviously a frozen patty with freezer burn and it didnt taste good. She told me I was "absolutely right, thats what that is",......twice. She left our table for a few minutes and came back apologizing that she couldnt adjust our bill in any way. I didnt ask her to, but it was nice of her to try. In a situation like this, the right thing for the restaurant to do would be to take it off the bill. That might possibly get the customer to return. Telling the customer they are right it is a freezer burned puck-patty but you cant do anything even though they literally cannot stomach the food is not the right thing for a restaurant to do. Basically, what I was told by their actions was that I got what I ordered, so thats that. I am fine with that mentality if the menu would have described it accurately. Had I known it was a frozen patty, let alone an old frozen patty, I would not have ordered it. Hoping Skyline reads this and cares: You cant sacrifice quality to improve business. I get that the economy is bad, business is slow, and its hard to keep fresh meat and veggies (another comment mentioned the frozen vegetables). The solution is not frozen food that tastes bad. The solution is buying smaller quantities more frequently. Sure there will be some loss, but eventually business will pick up because the quality people expect to pay for will be there. The current method only drives customers away. The only saving grace for this restaurant is that there are so few other restaurants in town. The french fries are GREAT!

I paid $18 for this: a turkey sandwhich with processed "swiss" cheese, packaged meat and kraft mayo; fries that tasted straight out of a frozen grocery aisle; and a "shrimp cocktail" which was a glass of canned mini shrimp with store-bought cocktail sauce poured over it. The lemon wedge was a nice touch, I guess. Horrible food. For a quick bite in a hurry, I might consider paying half of what it cost. Grossly overpriced. All-around, a huge dissatisfaction.

Its okay food but not great. Nothing you will remember and demand to go back for. Typical meats and burgers with fries etc... Prices could be better considering the quality of the meal/service. If youre needing mediocre food with little variety at kind of steep prices I recommend going the extra mile to The Point Restaurant... the food is SLIGHTLY better at also crappy prices...

This is - without a doubt - the VERY BEST place to eat in Sweet Home, Oregon. Had a perfectly (PERFECTLY) cooked steak dinner, with plenty of perfectly cooked vegetables - and then a perfectly cooked breakfast. If good food is what youre after, this is a hidden gem - you can count on the meal being perfect. Could not ask for more! Thank you!

I ordered the shrimp eggs Benedict I do not recommend it. The shrimp is so tiny like fake salad shrimp doesnt taste well at all. The biscuit and gravy were ok nothing special. Service was good until I told her Icould not eat the eggs Benedict. Pancakes were good just couldnt get extra syrup or a refill. I doubt we ever return.

My family and I have been going to skyline for the many years that we have lived here in sweet home, we have never had a bad meal or service and the food and service has always been an A+. Great family atmosphere and good fun hope skyline will be around and just as nice for many years to come...

Service is excellent as a rule. Desserts are to die for. Breakfast and lunch have good menu choices. Dinner is somewhat limited and my hubby didnt see a "senior" dinner option. My experience is the food is good. Worth stopping!

There Prime rib is out of this world and has almost NO fat on it. The service is wonderful as well. My wife and I eat there often and we live out of town too. We take all of our friends there when going out to eat. Bobby
