I went there once. It was a long time ago. I remember I had my blue socks on. I always remember stuff better when I wear those blue socks. It was Thursday, and it was raining. I was driving through town on what was then 101 North. I was in my 56 Chevy Nomad wagon.. red.. Cherry. As it happened, (and yes, it did really happen.. and for all I know it still IS happening.. like some Bill Murry movie..) so anyway.. I ran out of gas in front of the famous old place. So naturally I went in to ask about gas stations. It was warm and the fireplace was popping from the big chunks of old California oak. I ordered a bottle of red wine that came from someplace in Asti.. and some of their homemade bread just out of the big brick oven in the back. I pulled my boots off and put my feet up in front of the fire.. I could feel the heat through those blue wool socks. I got them from my mother for Christmas in the 60s sometime. I sat there for an hour. I was drinking wine and eating that bread.. lounging.. lingering.. lost, really. Forgot about the gas. And started thinking about a woman.. A woman that keeps drifting in and out of my head.. Even when Im not drinking wine.. in my blue socks. A woman I lost because I had made too many mistakes. Stuff that I didnt understand.. Like losing one sock in the wash.. 10 years go by.. You never see it again. So a lot of time goes by.. You never see her again either. What is that? Why do I still wonder.. You cant just wear one sock.. Can you? But, of course, I cant go into all that melancholia blah blah here, because this is a restaurant review.. (that I stumbled across while navigating through several web resources looking for something else entirely.. cant even remember what it was now) and in the end.. found myself scribbling this stuff. So, now, I will recklessly post this irresponsible comment anyway.. Maybe ten people will read it. Because.. you gotta tap the top first part, way up there, to get way down here. But, by this time, I feel obligated to tell you.. I eventually did have a long staring out the window at the rain dinner there.. it was a different place then.. California. As Dylan says, ".. the north country fair" So, if youre travelin.. as I was.. alone.. outta gas.. in the blue socks.. found on some way back there Christmas morning.. under the tree.. "from Mom to GW".. a long time ago. (unedited&stillmakinmistakes)

We stopped here on our way south on 101, on a summer Sunday at 12:30pm. There was only one or two other families or people in the place (which worked fine for us, with kids!), but that doesnt represent how good the food was. It was a-MAZE-ing. I had the Black-n-blue burger (bacon, blue cheese, and yummy aoili on a PRETZEL bun!) My husband had the Sour Wheel (burger with avocado on sourdougg bread) with bacon. We both loved them. Kids had the hit dog and chicken tenders, and ate everything. Well be stopping here again.

Superb! This establishment is the definition for "OUTSTANDING!" Best brussel sprouts Ive ever experienced and I am a travelin fool. It was mine and my daughters first visit tonight, and everything we ate is unlike anything weve tried anywhere else. Service was top notch, fast food service, great drink, and a nice selection of wines to boot...My Pinot Grisio went well with my dinner. We were shocked how reasonable everything cost! Needless to say, we will be back soon.

Fantastic food, great service and a relaxed atmosphere. When you walk in, it looks like a bar, THIS IS NOT BAR FOOD! Everything is made from scratch and worth it. I had the mac and cheese (added bacon) loved it. But they also have Asian cuisine and Mexican. My sister enjoyed the Chicken Curry my mother the Carnitas tacos. A definite recommend. A quick note about the restrooms. I have never been in a cleaner, more odorless restroom in a place that has a bar.

Food was great and very fresh, good service, dive sort of feel but beautifully presented food and excellent menu. Most of the food handmade on the premises and NO MICROWAVE!! Yay! Kids menu had options for a side of fries, mixed greens or FRUIT which we dont see very often. Would definitely eat here again.

I been eating at this place almost every day. I Love the food and drink. Crazy Unique, extensive and DELICIOUS menu. Fabulous, fresh cocktails too. I cant wait to return! Hip, really clean, updated station was so much more than I expected. Every employee was friendly and helpful. Truly great experience.

After a long day of traveling we stopped off in Cloverdale for the night. We went to this place for dinner, and the burgers were delicious! The staff was amazing and friendly, a quiet place with some super awesome music. If i were a resident of Cloverdale i would definitely be a regular customer.

Food was pretty good, but the bar is so disappointing. On the cocktail menu, the rye Manhattan has "brandy cherries," but they are the gross neon red abominations of your nightmares. Using fake sour mix in your margarita when across the street from the Cloverdale citrus fair? Seriously?

Honestly, the best food all 7 of us have ever had at a bar & grill! From San Jose to Seattle- the best meal in 3 weeks!! To die for sauces & soups. Amazing Mac & Cheese, fresh mixed greens, every single thing was homemade!! Custom, special, unique- talented chef!

Absolutely great food with service to match! They were very accommodating to our 1 yr old, bringing out his food early so that we could feed him first and enjoy ours when it came out. Definitely stop by here if you are in town.

Ok, not thrilled. Kind of a dive. Irish Spring Rolls with flavorless corned beef and cheese that I not only couldnt taste, I couldnt even tell if it was there. Had to figure most of these reviews were from friends.

Decent deep dish pizza, comes close to Little Star and Zachs, but much larger restaurant with big selection, in charming location, lots of patio and interior space, full service bar, good prices for the area.

Delicious burgers. Top notch fries. Intense root beer. No options for flavored iced tea, just unsweetened and sweetened. I would definitely recommend this place.
