I am currently disabled and after being treated like scum by other restaurants my family and I decided to eat at Ciao. We were warmly greeted with a door opening and invitation inside. All the employees smiled and waved. I felt like a super star. Dave immediately came to our table and with deep regard spoke to us. Very rarely do I meet a person with such soul and a heart full of truth and caring. Dave started us with a free appetizer and we left with free dessert. I found out Dave was the owner. For the moments I was eating that delicious food I could forget about my health problems and what had happened to me. Our server Emily was quick, responsive, and full of smiles. The food was as great as the people because it was made with love. After dealing with so much pain the love and caring that is true feels very good. I ordered Pasta and took a Pizza home to go. Both were excellent. It is hard to find a pizza like that. A simple margarita pizza was cooked perfectly I finished and wished there was a place that made pizzas like that closer to me. Thanks for everything.

I ordered a side salad ( do not recall the price) and the pasta primavera for 8.50 and paid 3.00 extra to add chicken. The salad was good with a nice gorgonzola dressing. The chicken was nicely flavored and very moist. The pasta might have been fresh and tasted fine, but nothing special. Normally primavera comes with an assortment of vegetables, cut in a julienne style and tossed with a light cream sauce and pasta. This dish only came with red onion, yellow squash and one piece of green pepper. Not much variety. The vegetables were sitting atop the pasta, with the chicken pieces. The yellow squash was cut into huge chunks. The vegetables seemed steamed, not sauteed and the whole dish was very bland. I didn’t really notice any sauce. I had to add extra salt and parmasean to get a bit of flavor. I would not order it again. The server was very friendly but checked in too much. We were there for exactly 1 hour for lunch and she checked in 3 times before ordering and I felt a bit rushed.

My husband and I ate here this evening and had a very pleasant experience. Aside from the pizza the rest of the menu was pretty pricey, but it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the chicken ravioli and was immensely satisfied with the overall taste, but for the price I was really expecting a bigger portion. My husband ordered the ciao deluxe pizza which he said was a little heavy with cheese, and the toppings themselves were good, but the whole pizza itself was just OK. This is a classy place with local, organic foods, and the service was, honestly, the best we have ever experienced since living in the area. Our water glasses never reached the halfway point before they were being refilled, and when our pizza came out a little oblong-shaped the waiter said the chef felt bad about it and even made us another 12" pie to take home. We were stunned! We also had a slice of chocolate cheesecake for dessert and it was simply devine! We will certainly be eating here again!

Food was excellent. I had the calzone, my wife had the chicken alfredo, my daughter had the lasagna, my kids little pizza. I tried all of them. For the most part, they all were excellent. I was very surprised. Im very critical of food but this was really good. I would have given a 5 star but it did take a bit longer than I would have liked to get our food. Food Taste: 9.5/10 Food Appearance: 10/10 Service: 8/10 Friendliness of the staff: 10/10 Restaurant Decor- 7.5/10. Part of the restaurant was really cool (the bar and stove). Other part (where you sit), not so much. They had ESPN playing. Probably would have been better playing Italian music. Also, I suggest they close the blinds. Took away from the ambiance to have big windows looking out at parked cars. Just a little change could make the experience a "wow". To end, if you like good american Italian food this place will not disappoint. Just dont go there if you are in a hurry.

For the setting and the cost, I expected an excellent pizza and food. We would have been better off at Pizza Hut or some chain place. It took forever for someone to take our order. My pizza was screwed up. They took it back. Took off what I did not want, put on what I wanted and reheated the SAME pizza.......... nasty. No free drink, nothing. I complained to management after wards but no response from them. I guess someone has a lot of money and does not really care if this is a good or pleasant place to eat. Save your money and frustration and eat somewhere else.

I placed an order online and had it delivered through grub hub. I ordered the original calzone and it came with a side of marinara, a $16 plate. I felt that for $16, it must be an excellent calzone and I couldnt wait to try it. Unfortunately it ended being the worst Ive ever had. I honestly believe it wasnt even seasoned at all. If it wasnt dipped in the marinara, it had absolutely no flavor. It was as bland and dull as it could possibly get. I couldnt even eat it. Im highly disappointed and would recommend ordering anything but if you decide to try this restaurant.

We stopped here after a long car ride for what was supposed to be a snack while our room was.prepared at a local hotel. This far exceeded our expectations. We ordered a stuffed mushroom appetizer, some soups and a.small pizza. All were great. The mushrooms had fresh basil, soups were homemade and filling. The pizza crust was perfect. The waiter.was friendly and didnt rush us. The only problem is we are going to be too full for dinner. Also the happy hour beers are a bargain. Thanks.

The Soups Its easy to overlook soups When you go to a place like this your probably thinking Pizza, or a Stromboli or something like that, but: Consider the soup I regularly go to Ciao for lunch nowadays and Ive either ordered Soup with bread (as the whole lunch) or Soup instead of a Salad with a Chicken Parm sandwich or something and the soup has been remarkably good (The Owner makes the soups and that dude knows what hes doing)

Wonderful food! I ordered the ciao chicken sandwich and it was cheesey, crispy, and flavorful. The salad that came with it was fresh with just the right amount of dressing. The service was a little slow so prepare to wait a little but if youre not pressed for time, then give them a try! P.S. the cook has a wonderful mario mustache that instantly suggested he knew something about italian food :)

Very good service the aroma was amazing. The server was very precise and excellent at describing the meals. The food outstripped the service if thats possible. I had the pork chop special the flavor of the combinations complemented each other so well that was like the first bite each time. 5 stars would be an insult one of The best meals I have ever had

Some of the best food of its kind. I dont like black olives, so they let me switch it for any other ingredient on there menu, no extra charge. Very fresh ingredients with a very fresh taste. Easily the best pizza place around. Makes Papas pizza taste like sewage trash. Also had very pleasant staff.
