Pizza Schmizza is a "trendy" chain that has sprouted across Portland and the suburbs surrounding it. I mean trendy as in, it has a Portland vibe that is obvious from the interior to the staff. Thats in no way a bad thing. The fact that it seems like a pizza only joint but is so much more is a great surprise to those that dont know what they offer. Theres obviously pizza, but also pasta, chicken wings, salads, sandwiches and tater tots! Tater tots! Cant go wrong with tater tots, huh Nopolean? Outside of the offerings of food, this particular location has a bar on the right side that is a full offering of a variety of cocktails and brews. Very good beer I might add. The only downside that I have with the place is that it isnt very big in regards to seating. There is outside seating for the summer, but if its busy on a Saturday and raining, a lot of times youll have to "to-go" it back home. The delivery availability isnt very big in radius either. I live 5 mins away and they dont deliver to me. The food is pretty good too. Big slices, some interesting toppings as well. Steak on anything is great. On pizza? For sure. The pasta is filling as well and isnt just sauce. It has a healthy serving of meat mixed in.

We generally arent satisfied when leaving. But today my sons school was having a fundraiser there so we tried it again. Bad idea. We were told when ordering that they were out of breadsticks, but 20 mins later we saw the server bringing out an order to the table next to us. I asked the server about it and she said that they did have some. We waited an hour for our pizza then asked where it was. They said it was just brought to the table. We said no it was not. It turned out that they brought our pizza to the table next to ours. The manager quickly told an employee to go grab that pizza from the other customers. Fortunately, the employee refused. We ended up asking for our money back (did not get all of it back) and left. It was late by then and drove across the street to feed the kids at famous NW burger chain. Even if there is a school fundraiser, we will never go back to Pizza Schmizza.

Theyre pretty rude at this one. I went there a few weeks ago and the girl at the register wasnt listening to me while I was making my order and was giving me looks when she didnt understand my order. I had to explain to her about 3 times what I wanted. Then she looked at me like I was stupid when she finally listened to what I was saying. I thought it might have just been that particular girl but I went back tonight to pick up an order that I called in. I went to pay for my pizza and I told the cashier to wait a second because I had a coupon. She ran my card through anyway, ignoring me, and handed me the receipt. The one in Tanasbourne is better. I dont know why all the employees at this one have such a bad attitude.

Used to be a big fan, but something has changed. The cheese is clumpy and weird now instead of melty and stringy. Not going back. Bummer too, cause they were my fav. I heard they were owned by the people who own Figaros now - maybe that is behind the change in ingredients? Whatever the reason, it is gross now. I threw away 2/3 of a pizza last night. :(

This is the place to get your reheated pizza by the slice, from counterpeople who will look at you in disdain if you dare purchase food and not tip them for the strenuous job of punching a couple buttons on the cash register. The food is ok, but the staff, well they are earning their low pay.

3 stars only because reasonably cheap good beer. Service is slow, bar often unmanned. You have to go hunt down the nice pizza maker girl to serve a beer. When I was there, Mr. Personality - young guy with big hair - was working. He wanted to be somewhere else, I could tell.

I love that they added a pub to this place. The beer selection is good and the pizza is as well. Sadly the way management run the joint is slow. The bar is frequently unmanned but when it is they are good.

Try the Alligator Pizza, its worth one try if youve never had it. All around good pizza and a really quirky atmosphere. Plus when you put a tip in the jar, the workers all hoot n holler. fun!

I think this location isnt popular enough to have fresh pizzas regularly. Its OK, and there is a bar area with TVs to watch the game.
