Oh god where to start? The overpriced sandwiches that taste horrible? Or the fact that the employees hygiene is disgusting? The sandwiches dont have enough meat on them theirs more lettuce than anything else and they never put enough mayo or other sauces on the sandwich even if you ask for extra! Then theirs the employees, this guy with a bad attitude he has a beard and hes working in food? Its bad enough i was treated poorly but worst part i had a short black beard hair in my sandwich... I will never go back there nor tell anyone to go there unless they want to make thier day worse!!!

I love this place!! I was ecstatic to finally get a Big Town Hero here in the Springfield area when it when it finally arrived a few years ago. I have always been treated with a warm smile and greeting upon entering the store. I love the freshness of the bread compared to "other" sandwich shops around town. The sandwich is always delicious and has never left me disappointed. Normally I dont comment like this but i felt the need to say something after looking at the sole comment on here.

Normally I love BTH, but today the man here alone was overwhelmed by a 4 sandwich order, wasnt familiar with the combos, and didnt change the soup of the day sign. I ordered the soup combo assuming it was the posted clam chowder, no clue what he brought me, but is wasnt clam chowder. I asked for chips instead and had to ask for my $1 difference. Not sure we will be back to this location

The girls today made horrible sandwiches. The only reason why I give it 2 stars is because the bread was good. Other than that, there wasnt enough on the sandwiches to even taste. Friendly service, but horrible sandwiches

Everytime Ive ever came in Ive been greeted with a smile and wonderful service. The food is always excellent and the bread is my favorite part. Baked fresh from scratch daily. Love this place!
