This would be my third time eating at this restaurant over the course of the last 3 years. I generally go there when the better choices in town have very long waiting lists. Today, was not much different than the typical experience at this restaurant. They must go out of their way to hire hipsters - because that summarizes their entire staff. This being said, today took the generally uncleanly dining experience to another level. Before I begin, I should probably mention that the customers restroom is in the kitchen. Yeah you heard that right (real sanitary). All this may explain today. Its not unusual to have a dirty table or a ketchup bottle that looks as though its never been cleaned, but today I got a little something extra in my omelette. What is it you ask? Two PUBIC HAIRS cooked into my potatoes. Now I dont know about you, but any human hair in my food makes me want to vomit, but these were pubic hairs. This is another wonderful quality about this restaurant. To get help, you have to act as through youre landing a plane. So after 3 minutes of trying to flag down our "waitress" down I finally went up to the cash register with my plate. Now the fun begins. My waitress was there talking to a middle aged woman who was one of the rudest cashiers Ive ever met. I showed the waitress the "pubes" and she grabbed my plate and ran off with it without saying anything. Keep in mind I was talking to her. So I told the cashier that I guess Ill talk to you now seeing as how she walked away as I was talking. I told her I had pubic hair in my food and she said, and I quote, "OK, and?" My mouth was watering still from the thought of this nasty crap in my food and I wanted to throw up. So I said, "Wow, OK, I guess were out. And left this gross restaurant. If youre looking for an unsanitary, disgusting, hipster dining joint then this is the place for you.

It was once "good". Not great, but just good. A place just a bit better than Sheris is the best example i can give. Please read as it will give you an insight on what may occur with your experience at this gross restaraunt. Their coffee dispenser it extremely greasy, not just because of the coffee, but to the point where it appears as though they NEVER cleaned it. Its quite disguisting looking and to think that the old build up is in the coffee that we have been drinking! I could push my nail on the table and make an indent in it. As if the finish was old and mushy? Just absorbing the old overused rags the waitresses were using to clean the table and left over food. The waitess was nice to me in the begining, but just short with me when ordering and gave no eye contact when we asked if i could have some creamer for my coffee. Was I inconveniencing you? Their wasnt creamer on the table... Sorry?? Here is the kicker though, when our food arrived, their was this short, dark, thick curly hair in one of our plates of food. It just looked WAY to thick to be a hair from the head. It could of been beard hair... Or worse. Absolutely disgusting and was cooked RIGHT into the food and was curling too riiiight out of it. The staffs response to this was jaw dropping, completely unprofessional, and unsalvageable. She gave no resolution to this or even a care. Acting like a high school student being told to participate in PE. We just left and I will NEVER go back there. Its unsanitary there, the staff are unhelpful , unproffesional, and uncaring...and it wasnt like I was being rude or demanding. I just dont like hair in my food; especially ones that look like pubic hair! Absolutely not worth the stop and wait. Be observant, youd be surprised what you will see in places like this. I will definitely be sharing my experience with my family and coworkers.

So I liked the hospitality and kindness off all staff who helped my family and I yesterday morning but if the cook happens to read this I hope you can use it to improve your cooking skills and for the better of the company so here is whaty family all thought..... U should discuss a new recipe for the biscuits with ur Establishment cause the end result is always going to be to dry or not done enough and if they dont change the recipe then use a little bit of hunny or sprinkle cinnamon in with the batter to add flavor and moisture to the middle out word beat in lightly and I had the chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy so to improve ur flavor into the steak try using fresh ground pepper and its always good to have seasoning salt thats what saved my breakfast and flip it less often as you do because the way it was it crumbled so everyone make sure the cook reads this thanks

I love this little place. It has a ton of different options for breakfast and lunch. So whether you are feeling like an omelet, French toast, or baked potato, they got you covered. My favorite thing there is a shrimp Alfredo potato. It comes with soup or a salad but I always get the clam chowder with it. The chowder mixes well with the Alfredo. The establishment is clean and features wooden chairs and benches. They are open til 2pm and you can call orders to go if you arent into the whole sit down thing. Their website could use an update to modernize it but they have an online menu that is hard to navigate. Still love the food and service!

Waited for thirty minutes past the time it was "supposed" to be done. We work local and had to take time out of the work day in order to pick up the food, which in turn caused us to be late. When we opened the containers, they were completely soaked through with grease, and eggs and sausage were covering the majority of the bottom of the plastic bags. I called back, and received nothing but rude tones and grumbles from the woman on the other line. I have always loved this breakfast nook, and am extremely disappointed with the quality of service that they find "acceptable."

My husband and I go to Salem every few weeks and saw the ratings on Busick CT were excellent, so we searched it out. The atmosphere is pretty cramped. We were there on a Monday and it wasnt very busy, but our waitress was friendly but very slow. People that came in 10 minutes after us were served at the same time as us. On the upside, the food was very good and the portions for the price was also excellent. We will try again based on that. They could have been short handed and I always give a restaurant a couple chances, especially if the food is good.

Worst dine in experience Ive ever had. First they tell us we have to wait outside for 10 minutes because they were full. We get a table and were legit waiting 40-50 minutes for our order. Im looking around at the people that came in before us and they already had their food. The waiter proceeds to tell us that were almost next. Got up and left. Never coming back to this place ever again. They made it feel like we werent "privileged" enough to be there. I would recommend it to be shut down.
