Super great food, nice clean cute restaurant. Almost hippie-like but with attention to cleanliness. Very familiar and it was my first visit. I liked the sense of community, so if you are super picky that if they run out of cheese the give you a side of avocado this type of place isnt for you. But it was late, just a few minutes to closing on not only a holiday weekend but graduation too, they dont strike me as a place that runs out of stuff. I loved my visit, solo dining can be lonely at times and I felt part of the family. I am jealous there isnt a Studio One Cafe in my town :( DONT MISS OUT, EAT BREAKFAST HERE, the benedict was to die for and my blueberry pancake was perfectly cooked and filled with sweet, juicy blueberries. YUM! One teenie, tiny bit of advice. It says the close at 4 but be sure to get there at least by 3:30 or you might not be well received. One of my tiny pet peeves, if you stop serving at 3:30, just say so (closes at 3:30, boom, done and crystal clear) and alleviate losing a customer who may not come back if turned away and/or rushed once. (That didnt happen to me but did to a few tables who came in closer to 4.)

This quaint little place is kind of in the suburbs, off the beaten path, but worth the drive. Whether youre a local or someone visiting out of state, or just want a nice lunch with friends or a significant other, this place is for you. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the food feels like straight comfort food. The waitstaff are friendly, and the menu offers many options depending on your dietary needs and wants. There are vegetarian options, vegan options, and of course gluten free substitutes as well. Everything youd expect from a cafe in a town like Eugene, and more. And to top it off, its not too pricey for a filling meal. I just happened upon this little place one day when I was searching for somewhere new to try, and boy am I glad I did. I encourage anybody whos up for a good ol day on the town to do the same -- you wont regret it for a second (and your belly wont either)!

Im amazed that people find this place a go to breakfast spot. Not only is it highly inconsistent, but even when its on it has a poor showing over all. The hollandaise sauce becomes transparent after a few minutes (the three times Ive presented it) which it shouldnt. The biscuits and gravy... Well first time Ive ever sent biscuits and gravy back. They use a gravy thats worse than what dairy mart offers in there canned gravy. Thats pathetic that a breakfast join uses a fake gravy. Im in shock that people find this place very good. Original pancake house, the glennwood, keystone cafe are far better.

This is hands down the best breakfast place in Eugene. The owner and staff have always made myself and family feel welcome from the very first day we showed up in the middle of winter, straight off the plane from Australia. Weve been going back at least once a month ever since, and we always bring guests. The food is consistently delicious. They do great pancakes. They always bring a little plate of fruit out for my one year old. They do get very busy on the weekends, so come early or be prepared to wait a little. Its definitely worth it.

Good ol reliable breakfast spot. Nothing remarkable, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Expect pretty standard breakfast fare and while school is in session expect it to be packed with (hungover) students on the weekends. Friendly staff, good quick service, and outdoor seating. Ive definitely enjoyed their pancakes and potatoes on a number of occasions, but really I dont have anything too exciting or spectacular to say. Check this place out for a hearty diner style breakfast.

This is the best breakfast spot in Eugene (though I hate to say it because then more people will know about it). Everything is made to order and comes out perfect every time. There usually is a short wait but it is worth it and they get people seated rather quickly. They have coffee to drink while you wait and a great patio. If you want a great fresh breakfast and want to try something different then just bacon and eggs (though they have that too) I highly recommend this place.

Good staff. Subpar food. I have tried this place twice thinking I must have just come on an off day the first time. I have had their eggs Benedict and their biscuits and gravy. Both were not to my liking. The flour in the gravy was very strong so I felt like I was eating a bag instant gravy. The eggs Benedict were much better at Agate Bistro beside Studio One Cafe. Im giving 3 stars instead of 1 because the service was good and the staff was friendly both times.

Enjoyed the experience. Friendly wait staff. I had a burger with an added chicken breast and bacon. The flavor was very good. But I couldnt give a five star because the burger patty was a frozen patty and the chicken was super rubbery.. But Ill still gladly come again. Probably will stay in the breakfast part of the menu next time though. My waiter was Max B. He was the reason they still got four stars. I enjoyed the experience overall.

Studio One always was good big food. But since the new owners took over it is even better. The Hogles have really improved the quality of everything. The food is even tastier, the service has improved and the restaurant space is cleaner and fresher. The best breakfast and lunch in Eugene. They are now including a lot of local organic food in their menu. Good food, good value, healthy, good service and local. I am addicted!

The food was good, Ill give them that, but not worth waiting 30 minutes to get a menu then another half hour to get water and coffee with a pool of grounds at the bottom. Many items I wanted on the menu were not available at that time and thats fine it happens everywhere but it was getting a little ridiculous. I rated it below average because a lot of places have good food but also great service, you need both.

Ive been to this restaurant quite a few times and after being told how good it was I decided to try a few different items on the menu. Overall I have not been impressed. The restaurant is always overpacked and the food is pretty basic, they just give you alot of it. But for the prices you pay you should get that much. Do yourself a favor and try someplace else unless you just like to eat at busy places.

5 out of 6 times, this place will be fantastic. That sixth time will leave you wondering why you endured the wait to get in. But if youre like me youll keep going back for the Benedict varieties, or the gluten-free and/or vegan options, the wide variety of tasty sandwiches and omelettes, and the perfect combination of flavors. Despite the intermittent inconsistency, It remains my go to breakfast place.

My wife and her girlfriends made Studio One Cafe their favorite breakfast hangout a long time ago. On occasion she even takes me with her so she can order both Eggs Benedict and Stuffed French Toast, because she can never decide to simply have one or the other and swapping plates halfway through breakfast to be able to enjoy some of each is what our marriage is all about when were at Studio One Cafe.
