This was the worst place to eat EVER. My 2 year old would not even eat the foods she normally does. There was 3 of us, myself, my 2 year old and her dad. I ordered a apple juice for her when they brought our menues, she brings back only water. Then when we ordered our food I thought I could order 2 different plates and split it between me and my kid french toast and cornbeef and hash with hash browns , her dad ordered the biscuits and gravey. When we got the food, I started to split the plates and I tried a bite of the hash. I am sure they were feeding us cat food. Never in my life have I tried anything so nasty. My kid would not even eat it. She spit it right out. Told the waitress it was bad, she took the plate and knocked it off the bill. My kid did eat the eggs, and tried the hashbrowns. She said she did not like that, so I tried them. The tasted like old burnt browns. They were just as bad. Then the dad said his was just na stylish as well. I did not try his, but he is a fat kid at heart and eats just about anything and for him to push his plate off to the side said a lot to me. My French toast was good. The only thing good there. But I can almost sware they were feeding us cat food. We paid and left, then went else where for the 2 of them to get a decent bite to eat. I will never suggest this place to anyone or ever go back to this place.

The quality of the food is of the highest. I think the only things not made on site are maybe condiments like ketchup and Tabasco, everything else at least appears to be made on site, the cream is fresh, the fruit is fresh. I try something new every time I go in there, and every time they do not fail to impress. Even the coffee is great, I expected the same iffy coffee as any other breakfast house, and I was wrong. The price is a couple dollars higher than what you will pay at some of the more well known breakfast diner type establishments per plate, but I will gladly pay it for the total quality of the dining experience. I stated excellent decor but honestly I do not care about that, however the place is kept very clean and tidy. And the staff is awesome, courteous, attentive without being obtrusive and always with a clean appearance. Overall I give this place very high marks, do your mouth and stomach a solid and go eat there.

Wow! FRESH made whip cream. No can. Thick. Nice. Bacon crisp and thick. Pumpkin pancakes to die for. Many choices, will see if I can make it through the pancake list. Staff friendly and competent. I do not know that they have the original pancake, but they know how to cook and how to treat their customers, so I will be back. Expensive? Nah. Good food, good service, fair prices. I will be back again, wife makes me (ha ha).

Went with a party of five on mothers day and got excellent service despite the rush. The manager was helping out the wait staff and was wonderful. All of the food was excellent, too. The only thing not perfect was one of the Dutch Baby pancakes we ordered; it didnt rise quite right. It was still delicious but the manager offered to take it off the bill as soon as she saw it was less than perfect. We will definitely be going back!

Really good execution of pancake house classics (we had the 49s flapjacks and pigs in a blanket this visit), but the interior decor made it feel a little sterile rather than homey. Still excellent food and prompt service. Additionally I was suspicious of the pricing on their bacon sides as compared to the other locations Ive been to out of state, but the quality of thick cut bacon held up and thats what counts.

I thought the food was bad. I had eggs bendict and the canadian bacon was like cardboard, the eggs were raw and the sauce was from a can. My kids had pancakes they said were good, but they both disliked the eggs. The hashbrowns were basically mashed potatoes and tasted burned. It cost us $54 for the four of us, definitely wasnt worth it and I wont be back.

Great service but food is ok. Food is pretty basic. Not a kid frendly place, by kid i mean ages 1 to 5. Plus you wont feel welcomed with a big family with kids. Even more with special kids. Youll get numerous people staring as you walk out the door even the waiters.

One of the best breakfasts in town! Ive grown up going here frequently with my family. We have always had great service and the food is very delicious no matter what you get. When your there try a bowl of whatever local season fruit they have at the time.

Always super tasty with great service. This is a higher end (not diner) breakfast experience, with prices to match. The fresh fruit options are wonderful. One of the most consistently good quality restaurants ever.

Best staff ever and the manager is wonderful. The food is homemade and doesnt take as long as we were expecting given that fact. If you have food allergens be weary though as everything is made with real ingredients.

The service was excellent. Food was super tasty. Only downside was the prices. 3 pieces of bacon with 2 eggs was over $11...had to pay over $4 for fried taters to add to that. Theyre definitely making a good profit.

Original is right on...nothing like it. The service is fantastic from the minutes you sit down youll be greeted with a warm welcome and hot coffee. The food is amazing and the fresh squeezed OJ is the best.

My 18mo old son LOVES OPH! He is a very discerning foody, so that is high praise. My wife and I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. Great staff and great food. =:xB

Excellent food. Fresh squeezed orange juice and perfect coffee. The food is so good that my children would be seated at the restaurant at. 6:30 AM so that they would still be on time for school.

Best pancakes ANYWHERE. I grew up on these amazing pancakes in Portland. Be aware. If you come on the weekend, book ahead of time. There will without a doubt be a line out the door.
