Good food. I have been here maybe 10 times, but one thing never changes...the male waiter isnt friendly at all. He pays more attention to his keno game than to his tables. Terribly unfriendly. Is always eating at the bar and whenever we need something at our table he rolls his eyes and lets out a large sigh. Apparently, we are inconveniencing him. Sorry waiter dude but we are likely to not come back anymore unless the service/server changes. Many of our friends have mentioned the same thing...hmmm. Well...after several months I have returned... not sure why. I guess because the food is good. Same waiter with past issues is sitting at the bar playing video games on his phone, filling out his keno card and eating. Just taking a break you might say? Happens no matter when i come in. My wife sees it too. My friend who lives a block away from the restaurant says the exact same thing. Not sure how they can continue to employ this guy. He is costing them money when people dont return, due to poor service. He wont return to the table unless I flag him down. He seems inconvenienced, once again. Come on waiter guy, I want to come here but you are wrecking it for me and others.

Chow Ma spicy seafood noodle soup gets my vote for mouth heaven. AMAZING! A few days ago I wanted to get some hot n sour soup to a sick friend. Taipei Noodle Haus was along the way. I ordered the Chow Ma - Hot. I like spicier than the typical American. It was perfect. Since it was "to go" they packaged the noodles separate from the broth so they wouldnt soak up all the broth. A big box of soft noodles and a quart of seafood filled broth. Perfect. The large Hot n Sour was basically 2 of those clear quart plastic tubs. My friend downed one quart like he was coming off a week in the desert and was VERY VERY happy. I snagged a table spoon, and it was quite good. Mild for me,.. perfect for him. Looks like there was a handful of shrimp in there. But that chow ma. OMG. I cant wait to get more! Thank you Taipei Noodle Haus.

I grabbed takeout from here on Christmas day, as it was one of the few restaurants open. I split an order of Wonton Soup, Pork Fried Rice, General Tsos Chicken, and Steamed Bao. While my stop in the store was short, it was enough to disincline me ever eat it. The restaurant is a little dingy and to be honest a little depressing. As for the food, the portions here are very large; My friend and I were not able to finish our order. The food itself was not particularly good, the General Tsos was mainly breading, the Steamed Bao was tough and chewy, and the Wonton Soup was bland. The exception to all this was the Pork Fried Rice, which I will not claim is objectively good, but reminds of the friend rice of my childhood. The prices werent bad for what I got, though I cant suggest Taipei with so many other options in Portland.

So this place was a nearby stop by place for us. We just moved in the area and was going to find different foods. And boy were we disappointed in this little "haus". I honestly dont understand why a Asian restaurant would be called "haus" in the first place that a German word. But besides the point our food was HORRIBLE and GROSS. We order some noodle dish and it came out so oily it was nearly soup you can eat without thinking about an artery clog afterwards. Oir sweet and sour chicken was nothing but bread ding and sauce I mean really how do you mess up sweet and sour chicken?. But I guess its not hard for this place.

My wife and I found about this restaurant by mistake when we visited this furniture shop right across the street from it. All I can say is that their Beef Noodles tastes exactly as the Nanking Beef Noodles from North Park and Hap Chan in the Philippines. I could say that their menu doesnt stick out much from other Asian restaurants but they do cook it differently. This is one of the most best authentic Asian restaurant that I have tried in Portland.

The food was great, I was enjoying myself until the staff started getting in a loud Chinese shouting match with each other for 20 minutes while we were eating dinner. I told the waiter if he could tel them to stop because it was really ruining our dinner and he said they dont care. So,,, dont come here for a nice atmosphere or respect. But the food was good if you eat the traditional Chinese style.

I had General Tso Chicken and pot stickers. It was almost $17 which I felt was over priced. The service was nice but the food is bleh. Some of my chicken is questionable and fried rice wasnt an option so I had to take white rice (meh). Pot stickers are good and taste home made but they arent done enough so theyre doughy. Not completely unsuccessful but I wont return.

Cant speak for anything but the Korean-Chinese menu. They have the best Korean-Chinese food in Portland hands down. My family drives from the Hillsboro area at least twice a month to eat here and there are restaurants that have Korean-Chinese food on the west side too. Service is pretty good considering the fact that its an asian-asian restaurant.

I visit this restaurant several times per month since one of my business networking groups meets there for lunch each week. The food is quite tasty and very plentiful with very inexpensive prices. Id recommend the stir-fry choices instead of the deep-fried choices in most cases, however, since the deep-fried ones have more breading than I prefer.

Wonderful experience! The outside of the building looks like it could be a dive, but the inside is clean, relatively new decor. My husband and I had one of the combo meals and enjoyed every dish. The staff were very attentive, and were willing to work with our dietary concerns. This restaurant will probably become our go-to Chinese place.

Had dinner here last night after work - some of the best Chinese food ever. Servings were generous, staff was professional and courteous, and the atmosphere most comfortable. Will definitely be going back.

Delish noodles and soups, American Chinese, korean, real chinese. My go-to sick time soup - seafood noodle soup, clean, restorative, and some crab rangoon, cuz you gotta live.

I love going to Taipei for lunch. Awesome prices for delicious food. Dinner is also good, but lunch is where the deal is at. Try the General Tsos, you wont be disappointed!
