Authentic Korean restaurant? yes to the extent that the co-owner is a Korean ahjuma who started in the U-District. Back at the U, her [side] dishes were just ok. Good for students on a budget in a convenient location. So how did she manage to fall so low? This is a real shame to charge as much as Sam oh Jung ( K-restaurant up in Lynnwood) and eat a dish that no Seoul nim, much less a Busan nim would ever swallow. So, whats authentic, impressive, or delicious as some suggest? This ahjuma is giving a bad name to Korean cuisine altogether. Are the 4 or 5 star reviews fake or do people eating there have really no clue? This type of poor standard in Korean cuisine is unfortunately on the rise in Seattle. Younger Koreans have made it and moved on to better careers. There are unfortunately very few decent Korean restaurants left in the Puget Sound. Even H-Mart is increasingly catering to the Chinese population.

Best Korean food in downtown area! Im a regular. I usually go there for dinner after work to treat myself. Ive tried a few different plates (tofu stew, black bean noodles, etc) and they were all very impressive. I personally like Korean bamboo much better than the Korean restaurants in ID. The price is so reasonable considering the fact that you also get 5 small plates. I usually get half full even before the entree comes. But the small plates are so good I just cant stop eating.

Ive been here many times with my girlfriend. Everything Ive had here has been outstanding. Im only docking one star because our service last night was less than good. It took a while to get the check and normally you get tea at the end of the meal but we didnt get it. I never got a refill on my water, which I needed for my spicy dish :p and im pretty sure the waitress was being a little racist when she asked me if I wanted a fork. The bulgogi is to die for

Really like this small korean restaurant. Tofu soup is my favorite. small dishes are all delicious. Nice people. 前菜小碟都好吃,石锅拌饭豆腐汤也都很棒,分量足,价格也不贵,很喜欢!

Pretty good portions for the price and one of the better places for Korean food in an area where there arent many options so my rating is relative. If you want really good authentic Korean food you still need to venture up north or down to Federal Way. There was plenty of seating and service was great, I definitely plan on coming back often.

I think they can give customers bancan when customers are waiting instead of when they finished cooking, then gave everything to customers together. I went to Korean before, they usually give people bancan as soon as they sit down and you can ask as many as you want. The lunch combo is good, but the volume is so so.

You dont have to make the trek to Lynwood or Federal Way for authentic and delicious Korean food. This family-run Korean restaurant serves all the familiar faves - bibimbap, bulgogi, soon du bu, and japchae - along with other house favorites.

2일전에 방문했다. 맛은 훌륭하다. 청결도는 약간 부족하나 전반적인 음식 맛이 좋아서 좋은평을 올린다.

If you have a big appetite, definitely the place to visit. Very generous portions (but for low prices). Food quality is good, service pleasant and quick. The menu is more of a Chinese/Korean fusion than strictly Korean.

Yeah, wow... This place is great! The seasoning is spot on. The spice level for spicy items is actually spicy. Soup items are brought to you boiling, and they optionally will crack the egg into the broth for you.

I absolutely love Korean Bamboo! I only able to stock up supplies every Saturday tho. Does any body know where to find Korean Bamboo other than on weekends. Maybe a schedule on where he will be.

The best Korean food I have ever had. The spicy beef was delicious and came in an enormous portion with rice and cooked vegetables mixed in. Service was quick and the staff were very kind.

The bibimbap was bland. The tea tasted Kindof like oatmeal, which wasnt bad, just weird. Service was good. Id probably go back in hopes that the next thing I get is better.

In terms of korean food in Seattle, which unfortunately isnt super great, it was very solid. My pork gogi dish was very hot and tender and all the sides were on point.

Great food and very reasonably priced for lunch. The stone pot Bibimbap was super hot when it came out, and the banchan (side dishes) were all very good as well.

The food was very good at a reasonable price. The only drawback was that I had to wait a long time for my good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fast food Korean restaurant. Do not go there if you are taking out of town guests. Not a place to make Korean food or cultural impression.
