Not an exaggeration- this place has the BEST Pizza Ive ever had. The crust is so perfect, almost "tender" like a ritz cracker. They have a mellow vibe with its aesthetically pleasing interior. Perfect place for pizza watching, and they had air conditioning which is important in a hot pizza place. Im so glad we didnt go to the other pizza joint just down the road- this place will be on our list next year when we visit Portland again!

Wife and I went in at 4pm on a Saturday. It was very quiet, with a few others in there eating single slices. We ordered a gluten free pizza, it was acceptable, only down side is you have to order a whole pie. We were told 20 minutes which is fine, 41 minutes later ours came out with charred edges. A standard, "sorry for the wait" didnt really cut it for me. Not really sure what happened but I know I wont be going back.

This location used to be Pizza Oasis, which had better slices. Whole pies are ok but spendy. I am from New England and used to live behind Frank Pepes in New Haven CT. If this is from NYC, its Rays if anything. Skimpy slices and grease puddles on the pie. Best pizza in town is Mississippi Pizza across the river. Not likely to go back though staff was very friendly.

Not rating the pizza, because I didnt get any. Called to order a pie for delivery but was told that the delivery time would be longer than the business is actually open. I called at 9:10 pm on a Wednesday, posted hours are til 11pm. I was told I could come pick up my pizza, but I prefer to take my business elsewhere.

Every time I come here the pizza is perfect! My girlfriend hates pizza but will always eat here! For every girl who hates pizza come try a slice. Cant say enough about the quality of food and staff :) If you want a REAL slice come here you wont be disappointed. P.S. Bathrooms are clean!

Fantastic pizza! We had already had dinner and dessert and a couple of bottles of wine and a cheese board for a birthday celebration. On our walk back to the Max, it smelled so good we decided to split a slice (even though we were completely full) and it was an amazing decision!

Great service and great pizza! Never tried them before but called last night. Some of these new pizza joints in town act either uppity or prissy in their general service demeanor (ie Pizzacato, Sizzle pie). These guys are just nice and have a great pizza highly recommend.

Great pizza, great service, great beer. It is my new pizza place in Portland. Get the beer and pizza deal for $4.00. I recommend their IPA on their first tap. (It is the house brew)

The staff here are super awesome. The pizza is pretty tasty and huge! My favorite thing are the lunch options. 2 slices and a soda or a slice and a good chunk of salad for $6.75.
