Stopped by for a slice of pizza, and I gotta say, they pull off New York Pizza pretty good. Im not a huge fan of New York Pizza, but as a quick snack the Oh Potato hit the spot quite nicely. The crust was surprisingly crisp which made the typical pizza fold a little more difficult to pull off but I enjoyed the crispness. The pizza was well seasoned, and the soft potato actually went well with the extra crisp crust. Their ovens are super hot, and the slice I ordered was reheated before I even knew I was waiting. They do seem as though they have some very interesting other slices of pizza that I would probably like to try another time Im around, but for what its worth, it is a good street stop for a meal if youre hungry and in the area. There arent many places in San Francisco where you can get what amounts to a somewhat substantial meal for under $4.

Pizza is OK, At least the Gourmet Veggie, and Potato ones are, The Staff.... Theres this one girl with a plethora of animated tattoos (PBR, Pizza, French Fries) up her arm, and an eccentric dyed hairstyle. She is so rude. I walked in, deciding what I wanted, and she asked if I was ready, and if another guy was ready, we both werent and she rolled her eyes, and acted very rude. She impatiently tried rushing us, and we still werent ready so she said something like "I guess well just stand here" under her breath. Shes really bad at her job and was rude enough for me to leave my first google review ever, So you can Thank her. You shouldnt eat here if shes there. I heard the Big Slice down the road was better anyways.

With a basic slice priced over $5, we decided to get a pie. A medium pie is upwards of $30. When it came out, joke was on us--the pie was about the size of four slices. The crust was soft and bland, toppings nondescript--about like Dominos on an off night. In case the faded pics of 80s celebrities dont make it clear, Escape from New York is not the way of the future. Save your hard earned dollars for avocado toast.

West coast pizza pretty much sucks... There are a few places in the bay are to get a good slice of pizza and escape is one of them. Go in and grab a slice of a standard cheese or pepperoni or try one of the specials of the day... I love the pesto pizza with ricotta or the potato and garlic.... Mmmmmm I want a slice right now. While you are there look at the cool pics of famous people who have also grabbed a slice.

Escape From New York Pizza has wonderful thin crust pizza. It is thin enough that when you bite into the crust, it has a good crunch. I ordered the simple pepperoni pizza and it is good. Additional parmesian and pepper flakes are available on the side counter for you to use. I think the shop does try to keep it simple, but I would like to see more variations of pizza besides cheese, pepperoni, vegetarian, and etc.

The pizza slices here are decent - they come out fast and provide a good source of junk food for the hungry patron. Prices are $4 a slice - not cheap but still okay in my opinion. San Francisco is not blessed with the amount of pizza take-out places like NYC, sadly. Escape from New York is a good alternative to your around-the-corner-tacqueria - try it out if youre in the neighborhood. Plus point: open late!

The pizza is decently priced and of good quality. While true, the best part is there next level delivery service. Its as if they only hire nice guys who love their moms. Theyre able to deliver pizza in a fraction of the time the average panda froths. If youre unaware how long it takes for a panda to froth, its somewhere in the time range of 6-7 minutes. 11/10 would order again.

Im one of those odd people that doesnt go crazy over pizza. However, you really cant go wrong with the options here. I love their creative flavors of the day such as reduced balsamic over roasted fig, canadian bacon, and goat cheese or roasted garlic bulbs over basil pesto. The slices are huge and pretty filling for me. Not a bad place to grab a snack or quick meal to go :)

Great option for good pizza in the Upper Haight. Its not going to compete with the specialty/gourmet places, but for grab-and-go slices its perfect. Good sized portions, speedy, and reasonable prices. Im a big fan of the barbecue chicken when they have it. Also pretty sweet random decor on the walls.

Escape from New York Pizza is a really good option for pizza on Haight. The price is very affordable and you get a good tasting pizza as well. Im always coming here whenever I go and visit Amoeba. There are a variety of pizzas that you can choose from and you can either buy a slice or a whole pizza.

Solid size pizza slices for the price considering it is in a tourist area. Wish they offered more of a selection but than again at least they had pepperoni and cheese pizzas. Was able to buy one piece of pizza and share with my wife and we were pretty full afterwards.

IM IN THE MILITARY VISITING AND WAS TREATED EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL. IT WAS THE WORST PLACE TO ORDER PIZZA. IT TASTED TERRIBLE AND WAS EXTREMELY LATE. THE GUY WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS RUDE AND MADE SEVERAL RACIAL SLURS. TOO BAD YOU CANT RATE LOWER THAN ONE STAR.

Best deals in town! If youre looking for a cheap meal, but still want it to be tasty... This is the place! Budget friendly prices and every plate I have tried from here has always been good. Try the chocolate coconut cookie things they have too!

Decent pizza slices with a nice crispy thin crust, and generically satisfying buffalo wings if youre in the mood for them. A little on the pricey side for specialty slices--there are other options in the city I would go for instead.

Pretty good pizza, they usually have 5 or 6 different kinds to choose from. It has a nice casual aesthetic and atmosphere. The pizza runs about $4-5 per slice. Slices are perhaps a tad smaller than youd expect.

In my opinion, one of the best slices of pizza in the city. Their best slice is their garlic potato pesto which is amazing. The prices for their slices are a bit high (around $4) but their portions are big.

Among the best pizza in the city, this shop really does deliver a tase of NY-style pizza with reasonable prices. Expect a long line late-night, but they keep it moving well. Cash only unless you buy a pie!

Quick, tasty, relatively cheap. The pesto-potato was a surprise. We take a side trip here for a quick lunch or bite to eat and were never disappointed. I think the main draw is that theyre open late.
