So, let me just start by saying that Ive been enjoying Portlands abundance of Thai food for 11 years and did the same in New York City for years before that. I can say, without hesitation, that Siri Thai is one of THE BEST Thai food experiences Ive ever had - EVER - anywhere. Not only is their food SO AMAZINGLY GOOD, but their service is impeccable. I WISH Siri Thais customer service was the gold standard for all service interactions... the world would be a much kinder, gentler place. My boyfriend and I were home sick when I called in our first order for pick up. I gave our annoying dietary restriction requests and - even though I could hear that the place was slammed in the background of the call - the person on the phone couldnt have been more patient, and was kind enough to read the order back to me clearly and intentionally. I guess my request for no egg got lost in the mix of the hub-bub, though, because once my boyfriend got back with the food we learned there was egg in his pad thai. Before we realized that, though, my boyfriend exclaimed how EXTREMELY NICE the person was at the counter, ringing him up. They were exhausted from work but still explained how they loved their job and were super gracious even when the phone was ringing. I called to see how we could maybe rectify the situation and - because they were so busy - the person said we could bring in the pad thai with egg and exchange it. Once they learned that we were home sick, though, they IMMEDIATELY said they would deliver to us at no extra charge. When the delivery person arrived, my boyfriend tried to tip them and THEY REFUSED because they acknowledged the mix-up. ...let me repeat myself... This restaurant full of tired, stressed workers quickly delivered beyond their means because we were sick and then refused to take our tip!!! WHEN DOES THAT EVER HAPPEN?!?!? We just moved back to the southeast and were hesitant to do so, having lived in North/NE PDX forever... but now that we know about Siri Thai, were so glad to be back! We will probably lose everything ordering there every night, but goddammit - itll be worth it - because SIRI THAI RULES! Thanks Siri Thai!

I am extremely impressed. This place looks bad from the outside, but the inside is very nicely decorated and cozy. The service at Siri Thai is above and beyond. Persistent, without being annoying. I was treated very well, as if I was a family member or something. We got complimentary eggrolls with our order, and when I ordered coffee, I was just given a giant french press of my very own! Portions are big. I ordered some seafood special without really paying attention to what was in it, and even though there are things I generally hate in it, like muscles and squid, I loved it! I could bathe in the sauce it came in. They even refill your rice here without any additional cost, and the prices are reasonable, amazing considering all the little bonuses and great service you get. This is my new favorite Thai place.

Excellent food and awesome people!! I highly recommend this restaurant, both on the quality of the food - which was amazing - and the friendliness of the people who word there. I picked up Tom Yum and Tom Kha for myself and my friend the other day, and, because it was my first time, the lady who took my order included two complimentary spring rolls, which was just so sweet. We shared both soups and the spring rolls, and everything was great. The Tom Yum was outstanding with flavor and amazing veggies, and my friend said her Tom Kha was the best she had ever tasted. Please treat yourself to a meal here, this place deserves to be a Portland hot spot!

Nice! Cool but not freezing cold. Very comfortable temp. I ordered the stir fried veggie plate custom order...no green beans . Little bit broccoli. Tofu n. small handful cashews with house sauce - yum! Very colorful vegetable roll with tofu( u can also order large shrimp). With delicious warmed peanut sauce. Delicious. 5 star Thai iced tea. FREE refills inside. I got lime slices n squeezed them into my ice coldwater glass. In addition, tried their fried banana with coconut ice cream scoop. If I died today, I die satisfied n happy! Tell them Jean n Daniel sent you. :)

Our favorite neighborhood spot for a nice quiet dinner. The food is always amazing, and the staff are the best. Love the curries, and the appetizers are always on point. Almost always get an extra egg roll or pot sticker on the house, we always appreciated that. Highly recommend the shrimp salad rolls and iced coffees. When it is cold out, it can be a bit chilly inside. Sometimes when its busy service can deteriorate but still the best dining experience around. Thanks!

Siri Thai is our go to Thai food, hands down. Not just the food is amazing but the family atmosphere, kind staff and owners plus the environment. This is a family owner restaurant and they are trying to make a go of it. They might not be the fastest place in town but they are always kind and generous. When we go to Siri Thai we are there not only to enjoy the food but the company of our friends and family in a beautiful, comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

I tried their Panang Curry. It was the first time Id had the dish... I spent the next few weeks like a psychopath trying to find the best Panang Curry in Portland. I had no loyalty to this place. I was obsessed with the dish and I probably ordered it 30 times across 20 different Thai places(in case a cook was having an off night)... nothing compared to the first time... until the second time I went to Siri Thai... and the third... and the fourth...

Siri thai was awesome! We had a large party, 20 people. They were down a server and were scrambling to make it work. They did an amazing job. Not a single employee was stressed out, or freaking out about being short staffed. They still managed to give phenomenal service with a very pleasant attitude. :) Would recommend as the number 1 thai place in town. If you want awesome food, great service and a trendy environment, this is the place for you. :)

Only been once and I could be back. I tried their Pad Thai, Pad Se Ew, & Pineapple Curry--all of which were good but not amazing. I had no complaints and feel the price was very appropriate for the portions and flavor. As usual, the chicken was overcooked, but I dont think Ive ever had properly cooked chicken in a soup or curry--I guess thats the trade off for quick meals. Im still in search of my go-to Thai, but this is a great option until then.

They delivered to me while I was working damn near out in Gresham! The food is delicious, delivery man was friendly (and the man who took my order over the phone was great as well), and they wrapped up the straw in my thai iced tea like a pretty little paper candy cane. AND I got a surprise pot sticker! This was my first time doing business with this place and Im strongly recommending it to all of you lovely strangers.
