I recently moved back to Milwaukie after having lived away for 6 years. I was driving down McLoughlin shortly after moving back and casually looked over to see if a Chinese restaurant that was really good (Happy Village) was still there. I saw that it had been replaced by Frog Thai Cuisine. A few weeks later we had a friend over who said he was craving "ethnic" food (which I argued is any food, but that is another story) so I suggested this thai place I wanted to try. It was a Friday night and the Ranch Tavern - right in front of this place - was bustling, but there was only one pair of people at the Frog Thai. We ordered a bunch of things (we were really hungry) and every single thing delivered. Appetizers, soup, pad thai, curry - yum! We were stuffed, and it was really reasonably priced. The waiter was really really nice and very grateful and appreciative as well. I liked it so well that I ordered dinner to go 4 days later. And again, everything was delightful :) Please support this place - I think we would all like it to stay!

Excellent vegetarian and vegan options. Ive enjoyed every dish Ive tried and Ive been here many times over the years. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The boba for their bubble tea is fresh and their taro milk tea is mild and not too sweet. I prefer stronger Thai Tea but it is decent and not over sweetened. A good middle ground for many people. They will use coconut milk upon request, for those that dont drink milk. Good for takeout and small or medium groups. I have seen a large group on occasion but the space isnt geared towards that. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. My favorite dish is Sidewalk Noodles and for those that like mushrooms, Ive heard good things about their Tom Kha. Does not take Discover.

I love Pla and Michelle! Theyre always super friendly when we go in, super appreciative, and quick, too. My husband and I used to drive from Happy Valley all the way out to Lake Oswego for good Thai food; when we moved to the Milwaukie area we were SO excited to find a place that serves great, fresh ingredients. If youre worried about "thai hot" not being spicy enough, just reassure them that you can handle it. :) Some of our favorite dishes: veggie rolls, garlic pepper chicken, pad se ew, all the curries, drunken noodles, cashew chicken, tom yum soup... its all fantastic.

Hole in the wall thai place behind a bar, but exceptional vegan and gluten free thai food. You have to overlook the slimy drunk bar patrons hanging out in the parking lot asking you for a light but once you get inside you are warmly greeted and the amazing food experience begins. I find it ironic that I order the drunken princess but any dish is going to be the most flavorful without fish sauce thai food anywhere in portland. Definitely worth going to. We drive 2 hours to get there because when we want flavorful thai, this is the place to go. 100% Vegan 6 years.

The Frog Thai is a nice little Thai resteruant located on McLoughlin. Its never very busy which means the wait staff is always available to focus on you. The staff sometimes has trouble with orders (they dont speak english very well), but theyre very courteous and will go out of their way to make sure your order gets done right. The selection isnt very big but the prices are reasonable and the portions are huge (especielly with take-out). If youre a fan of Thai and youre in the area: the food is good and the price is right.

Got Pad See Ewe ($7.50), Crab Puff ($4.95), and a Mango Juice ($2.00). I was very amazed with the great quality of all the food. Had I not gotten the Crab Puff, I still would have been completely filled after the meal. As it was, I had trouble finishing the last bit of the Pad See Ewe because I was so full. The plates are large, and well filled. The restraunt usually isnt full, but that isnt a sign of its quality, which is amazing. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for good Thai food.

Clean restaurant and not very busy so we sat down fast but took a very long time to get our food and it wasnt very tasty.... Asked for medium spice and it wasnt even mild. They had lots of selection for fancy drinks, bubble teas, etc but they werent very good. We eat Thai all the time and love the flavor but this place didnt even get closer to hitting the mark.... Maybe it was just an off night... Saturday night, 6pm

We love this place, the staff is great the food even more so! The portions are just right, neither too much nor too little, Goldie Locks would have loved it here.Last night my wife had the Crispy Asparagus, it was beautiful and tasty. We are Personal Chefs and also have had a restaurant,so we appreciate what they have done with Frog Thai. Go, try it , enjoy! the price is right and the food is delish.

Even If You Arent As Impressed As We Were, I Guarantee You Wont Be Dissapointed.

I almost didnt eat here because I saw the exterior of the restaurant and thought it would be dirty. I am glad I overlooked that and ate here. The food was just perfect, very authentic, the service was great and the place was spotless. For an appetizer and two entrees (with rice included) only set me back $20. I will definately frequent this place!

Its a small hidden Thai restaurant. But true Home cooked Thai food. I loved how friendly the Staff where and down to earth. The Food was pretty good, as far as I know they only use natural food and no GMO junk. Highly recommend it, plus Im a huge supporter of small business. And this Place is a hidden pearl.

I am gluten free and dairy free. Needless to say my dining out experience is extremely limited. The staff will work with you on the ingredients and make adjustments if necessary. No concern of cross contamination. Highly recommended by my children as well, They eat everything.

Great Thai restaurant hidden away behind a Tavern on McLoughlin Bvld. Has booths not chairs, which is very nice. Makes it a restaurant not a cafe. Tasty bites... we had a curry chicken dish and the jumbo prawn app... both Yummy!! We will return one day soon! Enjoy

I appreciate that they have specifically vegan options on their menu, but the stuff I got tonight ("sidewalk noodles" and "amazing tofu") were so, SO bland. Not even drowning it in sriracha could save it :(

We love this place. Food is great, inexpensive, and staff is always helpful. Restaurant is clean but bare and could use a remodel. We usually get take out. Our favorite thai place in the area by far.
