First thing I noticed when I entered here was a distinct smell of sweaty feet, which put me off for the rest of my time. It also seemed like regulars got preferential treatment, as we were served after nearly everyone else who appeared to stop in all the time, though maybe they ordered ahead. As for the food, I had the Chicken Fried Rice. It was very greasy and yet the rice was dry and chewy. I also tried my friends noodle dish, which I wasnt sold on either. On the plus side, you do get a ton of food for fairly cheap. Probably wont go back, though my roommate absolutely loves it, so perhaps it just wasnt to my palate.

The Hong Kong 97 looks like the typical unattractive strip mall restaurant, but what makes this place special is the quality and quanity of food it serves. They have the best general Taos chicken in town. Also the broccoli beef and their special lomein is absolutely great. Dont pass on this restaurant by its ordinary appearance, the food is excellent. My only complaint would be their white rice. Several times it wasnt freshly cooked and was clumpy like it was reheated after being cold. Also havent tried their fried rice as most Chinese fried rice is pretty bad.

The people who work in the bar are very rude they give people more than what they should drink even though I told her my husband had had enough she still gave him another drink theyre all in it for the money she kicked for people out in the bar while I was in there and yelled at one man and told him to go to a black bar and then she told him to go to a gay bar theyre very racist I wouldnt give this place another dime of my money

Nice little friendly place with good waitstaff ..food was consistently good flavorfull and well portioned ..not a long wait time ..they have poker machines to kill time when waiting for to go and reasonable prices for food and drinks but not a lot of parking when busy because of mall type setting

Love this place. My go to Chinese food. Grew up down the street going here all the time for special occasions. Friendly staff and a clean open restaurant. The connected bar seems to keep the dining room from getting super crowded in the evenings which is a plus as well.

They have a lot of full meal options for a practical price. They have options for seniors and children.The staff is super-courteous They have several locations; theyre all good and their wait staff super-nice, but I like the one in Milwaukie the best.

Had a bad experience with employees hovering while we where eating our food (even reached across the table while we where eating to rearrange our plates for absolutely no reason); other than that though, the food is quite good.
