Ive never written a google review before, but felt the need to do so for this wretched burrito. We ordered delivery because it said it would take about 20—30 minutes to arrive. After about 20–30 minutes, our delivery time was estimated at 11pm (it was about 6pm when we ordered) which seemed like a ridiculous amount of time for a burrito. After calling and getting everything sorted out, our $9 burritos finally arrived. To be clear, we ordered 2 veggie burritos with refried beans, guacamole, and verde salsa. The burrito itself was 50 shades of beige, and was quite literally filled with nothing but rice. I found 2 or 3 chopped zucchinis inside of it that tasted like they had spent the day steeping in salty mop water. The cheese melted on top looked suspiciously like kraft mexi mix cheese, and there was no guac in sight (which we paid extra for). I initially thought the burrito wasnt absolutely horrible, until my verde sauce ran out, and i had nothing left to mask the sawdust flavor of my dry rice burrito. im also 99% sure the sour cream (which I asked to leave off) was quite literally cream that had gone sour and tasted like it shouldnt legally be served to patrons. Im really amazed this place has 4.6 stars on google. My friend and I were laughing the entire time at how awful this burrito was. Without any exaggeration whatsoever, this was hands down the worst mexican food Ive had in my life.

Tacos were foodie-grade excellent, the best Ive had in the westside burbs. Small but at small prices: $1.75 for meat, or really $2.25 with housemade masa tortillas (totally worth it). Get another taco instead of upgrading to a taco plate; the plates fixings were fine (especially the black beans) but the tacos were better. House margaritas were a solid accompaniment, very good for $6. We thought the first ones were a little too sweet, but the second round had a nicer balance of smoke and citrus. (That, or the first round got us a little drunk; either way, its not a complaint. Many places serve worse, usually at higher prices.) Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Some of the sides were a little plain, as youd expect from a strip-mall joint. The salsa and guac were very good but the chips were slightly overcooked. If they buy especially locally or sustainably, I didnt notice them mentioning it. Still, a surprisingly good meal at a nice price.

My first visit here was worth 4 stars, the second 3 stars, and the third 1 star. The worker (man behind bar) was a little rude on the latter two visits, which I really cannot stand, as Im always polite and I tip well. The dinner menu is overpriced, but the lunch menu seems more fair. On my last visit I ordered one of the few vegan options available (mushroom tacos without dairy) to-go, and when I got home they were smothered in sour cream. I understand mistakes happen, but that was the third strike for me. If the server was nicer I couldve let it slide. Anyways, I doubt this will matter, since they dont seem to be trying to appeal to vegans here.

Not fancy or flashy or the best atmosphere but if your looking for some excellent food try this place. Fresh ingredients and attention to spices and detail the food is surprising. If your in the area and want some excellent fajitas with handmade corn tortillas this is the place to go. Margaritas and drinks in general could use some work, they are a bit sweet, small, low quality, and over priced (Jose Cuervo Margarita was 12 dollars). But the food is worth stopping in for, especially considering there is not a decent mexican restaurant within miles. Plus have i mentioned they always have a special or something seasonal?

Yes! Yes! Please everyone eat here. This is our new favorite mexican restaurant. They have amazing food in every category. I like to go off menu and get all pastor enchiladas and oh my are they super delicious!! They make home made tortillas. I am a little miffed that they charge for them instead of being standard, but its a nominal charge and not enough make people scream rip off. They are worth it though, always upgrade! This is a newer place and its getting popular really fast and I hope they stick around for many years to come.

This is owned.by an amazing family. Theyve been around for 2 years and have established a nice rhythm while simultaneously raising their young child. It is a treat to see a family run place include the family. The food is excellently seasoned and the price fits the portions. Dancing at 9 on the weekends only adds to the charm. The ambiance inside suits a Mexican cantina- dont let the location of outside fool you into not trying great traditional food.

Grabbed lunch from here for the first time today. Great service! The burrito was massive with a generous portion of carnitas, came with melted cheese on top, guac, sour cream, lettuce and tomato on the side. as well as chips and three different kinds of salsa. Sanchez Cantina looks like a family run joint and they definitely deserve all the business they can get. These guys rock!

I ordered a steak torta and when I was eating it, I felt like a vegetarian because there was not even half a taco worth of meat. I saved some and took a pic when I got home and here it is. Speaks for itself I left a good tip and was very disappointed with my meal, for 8 dollars I got jacked. Count the pieces of steak lol

Im hooked! The food is fresh, the home made tortillas have me addicted to this place, nothing was bland. Beans, rice, guac, all dank! Id give 4.5 stars if I could because the drinks are on the weak side and a little pricy. The food is reasonably priced and you get nothing but flavor and freshness.

Great food and very nice service staff! Everything is made from scratch in house, and the portions are huge. Two of us came here for lunch and ordered the lunch sizes shrimp plate with cream sauce and shrimp fajitas. Plenty of leftovers! Will definitely come back.

Tacos are fantastic! They give you a choice of store bought tortilla or homemade. Always go for homemade. It makes a world of difference. Its a new place so theyre ironing out some of the kinks. Service and food were great.

Was hoping for good Mexican food but I was very disappointed especially because this place somehow has a 4.8 rating? Food and service were subpar. The dish I had was bland and had little flavor. Wouldnt come back again.

Went here on the Groupon and was extremely happy with the meal. Chips and Salsa were fresh and the Carne Asada was really excellent. Nice atmosphere...definitely recomend.
