Was expecting something rustic and divey. Couldnt have been more wrong. The food was organic and locally grown. Prices a bit steep but well worth it. And then there was the beer. An impressive and expansive selection from some of Portlands best micros. Absolute heaven and delicious. If you are looking for something off the typical tourist path, go no further than Railside!

The service was wonderful. The bartender was knowledgeable on a diverse range of beer and the all the craft beer was sourced locally. Truly a majestic and magical place. I would highly recommend especially tourists looking for a local experience. Railside really brings those words to life and reflects Portlands magnificent culture.

This place is the perfect Dive Bar experience what you see is what you get along with a very good drink and decent food and guess what at certain intervals the train even passes by vibrating the building for that truly by a railroad track Driving Experience they even have poker machines I like it but hey thats me

Everybody knows your name. And everybody ranges from 20-something hipsters to after-work tradesmen to confident professionals. Funny, hip bartenders. Best outside deck in Portland with free pool and free live music several times a month. Im not a country music fan but I Love This Bar!
