This place is awesome! I can bring anyone to this restaurant/brewpub; friends with infants or children, my dad, my boyfriend, my best friend. The generously-sized dining room ensures you wont have a long wait for a table (the wait varies during peak hours). If you do end up waiting there are comfortable seating areas (couches! yay!). The pizza and sandwich options have something to please everyone (gluten-free bread is available), as does the drink options. There is an excellent selection of beers, a cider, and standard wine options. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the large windows roll open to allow a breeze on nice summer days. This is not a sports bar, so dont expect to be able to watch a game or match here. Music comes from a record player behind the bar or from local musicians on certain evenings during the week. Amplified music is kept to a sane level so you can still have a conversation while enjoying the tunes.

Ive been to the Hood River location many times, but this was my first visit to the Woodstock location. Theyve done a good job with the space. It is cozy and spacious at the same time. It is loud, but I dont know that there is much way to improve that. Like Hood River, the food is not the reason to visit. It is average at best, and there is certainly better wood-fired pizza in Portland. The beer is good, but I also feel that there are better options in the area. The one thing I never considered average in Hood River was the service; the same could not be said for Woodstock. It wasnt that our interactions with the staff were bad or rude, but no one smiled or even tried to fake enjoyment. Our server was barely present. It was disappointing.

15 minutes ago, I got seated in the couch area, waited 6 or 7 minutes for a waitress who, when she showed up finished running the card for a couple 8 ft away, then looked me square in the eye and disappeared. Another 5 plus minutes and she returned with their check, again eye contact and she left. I like this place but there is no excuse for deliberate missed chances like that. Much happier at Papaccinos across the road now.

New to the neighborhood, this spacious pub is popular with Woodstock locals for its beer, pizza, sandwiches, and great prices. Known for its German-style ales and lagers from their brewery in Hood River, they became famous for their Kolsch beer. (The pastrami and Swiss on rye pairs well with it.) You no longer have to wait for your next trip east to grab your next Double Mountain. Great place to relax with friends.

Great Pizza and excellent beer. Its kid friendly with a kids menu and crayons. They have a large selection of their beer. We came on a busy Friday night at 6 pm, but didnt have to wait for a table. Our server was prompt and friendly. The only downside was parking, even without a wait, we had to park 2 blocks into the neighborhood. Im not going to let that knock my rating though, the place was still great.

Always loved Double Mountain beers and their pizza in Hood River and eagerly anticipated the Woodstock opening. Unfortunately was disappointed. Great beers as usual, but the space is entirely for family business and no area for adults only to enjoy a brew without screaming in a room that carries sound. I get it, but its not for my taste and will eagerly await Wayfinders to see if they got it right.

Awesome spot! Love a lot of Double Mountains beers but this was our first stop at this location. It was pretty packed but its well laid out and the staff was prompt in getting us seated and waiting on us with a friendly demeanor and were very efficient. Food is the same as the Hood River location, had the hummus this time and would definitely recommend that as a snack or appetizer.

Nice to see one of my favorite breweries in this great spot. Ive made a point to visit the Hood River pub whenever I pass through, as the beers are always top notch. This Woodstock location has been a number of establishments over the years, and the building has always had a comfortable Old Portland feel. Pizza here is as good as any, and sidewalk seating is great for summer.

Service was great despite how busy it was on the opening week. Only things I would improve would be a better selection of sides with the entrees and more non-IPA beers and at least one hard cider on tap. The sandwiches that the other people in my group ordered were good, but not worth going for. Go here for the pizza and beer. Great job Double Mountain, Ill be back.

Crazy busy but the service, beer and food were all top notch. I had three different beers (dont judge! I walked :) including the Peche Mode at the end. Good dessert beer if you dig sours. The pizza was fantastic and significantly larger in diameter than billed (Im sure thatll get fixed ;). Still, five thumbs up! Welcome to the neighborhood Double Mountain!

I was very excited when I found out Double Mountain was opening a location in Portland, until I found out they had the exact same menu as the Hood River restaurant. I loved eating at Double Mountain the first few times I went, but then the menu never changed, and it isnt exciting enough to keep going back.

I wanted to like this place but there was almost nothing here I could eat (Im allergic to dairy and dont eat pork). Would it be so bad to have a burger on the menu? The beer was okay, but nothing special, the ambience loud and sporty. One highlight was the service, our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Doesnt seem to be anything sub par about the service here and the pizzas certainly look very good, but they sorely lack a television and while they make a wide range of beers, still yet to find one that is all there. Nice addition to the Woodstock neighborhood though.

Really great beer selection, but the food didnt quite keep up with the quality, and the place was extremely crowded. However, the servers did a very good job attending to us despite being extremely busy. If you dont mind the crowd, this place is alright for drinks.

Great beer. Abundance of food options. Super friendly staff. Easy to access - right off the 75 in Woodstock. As a Hood River frequenter, this location is much more chill, mostly due to the size. Bring your own vinyl to play on their turntables.

For a advertising as a pizza and beer place the pizza lacks options with only having red sauce. Many other places that have good beer AND good pizza choices. Its a hit or miss with the service as well. Too bad, thought we found something good.

The Portland location is better laid out, more spacious, but thats where the advantages stop over the Hood River site. I had the same pizza at both places and the one from Hood River was much better. The beer was equal for me.

Good place for beer and pizza. I was a little disappointed that they dont carry Henry Weinhards Blitz, considering that they havea huge billboard for it. Otherwise, cool atmosphere, but get here early, as it fills up fast.

Not quite as good as the original but still worth the visit for food and beer. The atmosphere is severely lacking. Largely boring and uninspiring. If you have the time its still worth visiting the Hood River location.
