This a great place to have a quick sandwich and a beverage or a stay for a couple hours and watch the games and hang out. The food is outstanding and is hot and fresh....The service is really good and most days you will be taken care of by Jon the owner, and his awesome son Jeffrey, is probably cooking in the back of the house. Drinks are cold and the outside patio in the summer is dog and kid friendly...with a lovely view of the river and the waterfront. Its walking distance from several local hotels and to the streetcar so you can access it from anywhere in the metro area. If youre visiting, its a great place to chat with the locals and find out about all the best kept secrets in Portland. The hummus platter is outstanding, and they make one of the best Philly Cheesesteaks around and the Happy hour menu is full of great choices.......make it a must

During my brief visit to Portland recently I visited this bar a couple times. Friendly staff and good food at a great price. The bartender also introduced me to the music of Gary Clark Jr., an amazing guitar player and now one of my new favorite musicians. That alone earns this place a 5-star rating! I look forward to going back to Portland and will definitely stop by the Sports Bar again.

This place is horrible! I cant believe I got duped into going here by the other phony reviews. There was no beer selection and the food was frozen dinner quality. The only reason I am giving it one star is because it was a nice location but the sour attitudes of the server and owner just about negated even the river view.

Low prices and great food and lots of it -- both in serving size and menu options at Happy Hour! Many, many unique and tasty martini choices too. View of the river outside in the summer, and good TV viewing for watching sports inside.

A chill little sports bar. A good place to go for lunch. The prices arent amazing but completely reasonable. I had a really tasty burger with guacamole on it. And they have ninkasi on tap. Thats a winning combo.

Great location - relaxing outdoor seating overlooking the Marina - Attentive service and delicious food. Everything from a snack to a full meal. I live nearby so I enjoy eating here regularly.
