I will not be returning! This was one of my worst meals/beers in Portland in a while. I went for dinner last night, lured by a decent brunch experience there several months back (oh, and by the mention of "brewpub"). I was promptly seated, and ordered an ESB and a vegetarian Rueben. My beer was flavorless and lacked character, even though ESB tends to be my favorite variety of beer. I ordered a pint and drank about 1/4 of it. My sandwich was served on oiled (but not browned/grilled/toasted) bread, dripping a mixture of sauerkraut, vegetables, and thousand island dressing. It appeared to have been thrown together quickly and without care, and tasted, well, oily. The fries were the best part of my meal, crispy and delicious. To top it off, my server dropped my unappetizing-looking food off at my table and did not return until I had my credit card sitting out for 5ish minutes. She made no eye contact, never asked me how I enjoyed my meal, paid no attention to the barely-touched pint of terrible ESB. Just, "Ill be back with your check" in passing, returning with it (again, no verbal or eye contact), and a "thanks" (still, no time to speak with me) when she returned with my card for a signature.

Take this review with a grain of salt since Ive never actually been to this place. However, I tried to organize an office party to check it out and could not even speak to anyone about reserving their private room. I called and asked to make the reservation and was immediately put on hold. 15 minutes later, I hung up and called again. This time, the person picked up the phone and immediately put me on hold without a word. I hung up and called again shortly after and this this time I didnt even get put on hold; the person picked up and hung up the phone. Its not even 3pm so it cant be that busy. I would have really liked to try this place since the menu looks good and the beers sound good. But, I cant stand crappy service. If anyone has a recommendation where 20-30 people could go for good drinks and food in the Lloyd district, let me know. UPDATE: Thank you for the super fast response. I called again today and was greeted with a much better experience. We are all set up for our office party and are looking forward to trying the place out.

Just ok. Solid beer though, all a little different than youre expecting. And the outdoor seating has seen a major improvement! We go mainly cause my gf if gluten free and they have an interesting burger bun for her and it makes her happy to be able to get a burger nearby at someplace other than burgerville. Only thing Ive had there that was terrible was the french dip. Should be impossible to mess up but the meat was super dry and room temp at best, definitely not dropped in warm au jus or anything before hand. As for the table service. . . lets just say its gotten better the last few times weve been. Still probably the worst of any place we frequent but its gotten better. Last time we only had to remind or server once that wed been waiting 15 minutes for our drinks only to get told she forgot to put them in. Times before its happened on all of our drink orders. Had to cancel our last round several times cause we decided to just head home.

Ear piercing. Normally a very fun place to eat. Yesterday, horrific. I get that games are loud, rowdy, blah blah. However, yesterday there was a large loud crowd (again I get the game thing) and one foul mouthed female yelling at the top of her lungs every swear word she could come up with. At the very least I think the staff should have intervened and asked her to enjoy herself but be respectful of other people and their CHILDREN! Love this place but truly the worst dining experience Ive ever had anywhere. No way would I ever allow a customer to shout vile obscenities at the top of her lungs and disrupt the dining experience of everyone else. Seemed like my money wasnt as important as her good time and alcohol consumption.. Staff always great, no complaints ever in that area. Disappointing since we eat there often.

We stopped here while walking around before a concert at the Rose Garden . We are from southern Oregon and hadnt been in this part of the Lloyd District before so we were looking for a place to eat . As we like IPAs and Porters/Stouts the staff let us have a few tastes so we could decide. We rated our beers as very good . We were going to walk around a little more to decide where to have dinner when my wife noticed the happy hour menu. We sat right back down and had a fantastic $4.55 blue cheese hamburger. We later read the ratings and couldnt believe this was the same place. This is a neighborhood PUB with great PUB food at a great price. It is not a Deschutes , Bridgeport or Rock Bottom trendy style of eatery with overpriced brewpub fare.Good food and beer at a good price. We will be back.

Stopped by for drinks and a salad. Shannon is great at her job (Im in the service industry too so I know when I get good service) The team is always inviting and welcoming. I cant think of any other place where people walk in and everyone working says "hello!". I generally dont write reviews but I think good service should be recognized. Kaily went out of her way to get us our food quick as we were in a hurry for a show tonight and my husband was in a rush so we are thankful. We usually get served by Chelsea and she is so fun to be around - we always get the best service which is pretty Rock Star! Cant wait for next time we get tater tots and a salad, seem like a funny mix but well worth it. Thanks Broadway, keep it up and we will keep coming. Cheers! Kriste

Food is absolutely terrible. This place is close to my house and so every once in awhile I cave and go in to get something eat. Regret it every time. No idea how a place stays in business in Portland serving the worst grade food imaginable...my burger patty was gray. They forgot the marinara on my brothers calzone...he asked for it and the server came back with a ramekin and set it down. It was COLD. Like just pulled out of the fridge cold. Had to flag her down again to get her to warm it up. Beers are decent, service is nice but slow and very forgetful. Sometimes they just stand around chatting for 15 minutes and completely ignore their tables. The owner must live out of town or something.

I was excited for this place. First glance it looks good with a friendly staff though I dont think they hire men for the front of the house. My bartender forgot 3 separate items because she was busy chatting with her coworkers. The beer I had was a stout that tastes more like water than beer. It was like the person who made it had never tasted a good stout before. Then I had one of their famous margaritas that they juice at the bar but I dont think they put any alcohol in it. The most expensive juice Ive ever had. For food I had the maple bacon heart attack burger and it was kinda funky tasting....Like they mixed some roadkill raccoon in with the meat.
