Meh. I had the Forager burger, which is a basic mushroom Swiss burger. 13.99 and it didnt even come with a 1/4 or 1/3 lb burger. The patty was about the size youd find on McDs small burger, didnt even come close to filling up the bun. It was about 1/8 in. thick at the thickest point. I asked for it well done and it came out as tough as a hockey puck. I literally couldnt cut it with the steak knife provided. One entire side of the burger was completely charred, rending the burger inedible. I did send it back and they offered to make a new one, but it wasnt worth the time, as I had an appointment. The tots were good. My opinion: way overpriced for a burger joint. There are much better, cheaper, and tastier burgers in town.

The food is a little more expensive but not much higher than average. The food is delicious. I went with a group of seven and everyone loved what they ordered. The place is very high on presentation. All of their shots come in test tubes and their alcholic drinks come in beakers for a fun little quirk. They have a variety of side options for burgers, not just the standard fries all of which were pretty tasty; my favorite was their Mac and cheese when you add their rosemary salt. The have experimental menu items that they encourage feedback on and is either kept or scrapped according to customers opinions. Overall I would eat here again.

My bf and I are on a quest for the best burger & shake place in the west. This joint was recommended to both of us by coworkers. The burgers were tasty and juicy. The banana shake was amazing. His garlic fries were loaded. I tried the poutine. The cheese curds and mushroom gravy were awesome. The atmosphere was comfortable, cute, clean, nostalgic... They were a little pricy...and it took us a little while to get our food...but the staff was super friendly. I will definitely be back.

The burgers are quite tasty. Food is expensive though (burgers $10-$15). We usually dont go unless we have a coupon or gift certificate. I especially enjoy the Dork burger (combination of duck and pork). Menu changes constantly, as they are constantly experimenting with new combinations, henchmen the name Lunchbox Laboratory. Shakes are especially tasty, but at $5-$7 per shake, we usually dont buy one. Part of the decor is dozens of old-fashioned metal lunchboxes.

This place is so good that I regret giving any other restaurant a 5 star. The food is so good that anyone who said they didnt like their food I call liars. And will never respect then or their opinions again. I have never been so surprised at the quality of a restaurant (in a good way). The food and service was so excellent that I was shocked. Prices are pretty high for the small portions they give you. My wife has been here twice and one the third time she convinced me to try it with her. It was horrible I dont know what they gave us but it made my wife and I sick minutes after leaving the restaurant. We both ran into safe way to vomit, cause our stomachs were cramping bad. They only thing we shared was the tots appetizer and corn dogs appetizer. Never going back now.

I heard a lot of good things about this place however after being seated right away we waited 25 minutes before finally going to find a server to at least get our drinks. She smiled and said Ill get someone over and after another 10 minutes of waiting still nobody arrived. My family and I decided to leave and go somewhere else to eat. Maybe Ill give it another try down the road but fur now it left a bad taste in my mouth.

This place is awesome. We came here tonight for the 1st time because we found a deal on Groupon. The food was great, the staff is amazing and the alcoholic Milkshakes are to die for. Im not a drinker and dont like the taste of alcohol, but those milkshakes could get me in trouble for sure. Thanks GM Steve and our waitress Desiraye. We will definitely be back.

I can agree with Derrick as far as customer service goes. The gals focus their attention to guys at the bar rather than their own tables they have. The food on the other hand is ot better than Red Robin and Blazing onion. The new menu items are okay, but bummed out that they got rid of their Mediterranean burger and the churken .....whoa is me

Quirky little Shop with a good menu. Its nice to see original flavor combinations for the burgers and they have different meats to chose from. The restaurant itself has a bunch of metal lunchboxes all around the shop which is fun and the portion sizes are reasonable for the price. Have been here several times now.

Oh my god the best burger Ive ever had. The Boston creme shake was the best shake Ive ever had. Service was good, especially at 1630 on mothers day. BTW moms eat free on mothers day. A little spendy, but definitely worth the money and the drive across the bridge! Portions arent huge, but man do they fill you up.

Such a funky place! Theres not a place around thats anything like it. At least not that Ive seen. Their different sauces are delish, and the unique grade school-meets-laboratory theme keeps it very fresh feeling. The service isnt anything special, but its such a one of a kind place that its worth a try.

Id recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves a great burger an a fantastic shake. Prices seem a smidge high, but totally worth it after you taste the food. Service is always on point too. I recommend getting the Gavachos Tachos appetizers as I get it every single time I come here.

The food was great, but definitely over priced. Service was bad only seen our server 4 times once to take our order twice to bring our food (I think they forgot the shake I ordered and finally brought it out right before I got my bill) out and once to give us our bill.

This is a great place for lunch. Theres nostalgic lunch boxes on every table and along the walls to look at. Theres unique food and burgers to eat and a great selection of beverages, both alcoholic and non to drink. I really enjoy this place every time we go.

Lunchbox Laboratory has great American food and fantastic milkshakes. Its a great place to stop in for a burger and shake. However, it is a little pricey compared to its competitors, so it is a shame they are doing away with their 50% off happy hour.

Ok I read somewhere that these are the best burgers in the country, and I really believe it. Wow! And the best other thing on the menu Ive found is that you can get Mac & Cheese with bacon and jalapeños and everything. Oh man its awesome!

Good service with exciting food and milkshake options that are generally very tasty. But at this price point, if I ask for my beef patty to be cooked medium, dont give me an undersized patty thats so overcooked it is nearly a briquette.

terrible management, learning how to treat your staff and not hiring someone only to cancel most of their shifts and then fire them cause they werent catching on fast enough with all their cancelled shifts and you hired too many people.
