This place is pretty good. Ive been coming here for many years. Id give it a higher score, but their menu just hasnt changed once in 5+ years, so Im a little bored of it, and really nothing knocks my socks off. But if youre coming here for the first time, I bet youll like it. Service is...good, not great, not bad. So...4.4 stars? Can I do that now, add a point four? 4 seems low, and 5 seems too high. I like to be specific in my ratings.

Decent food, nice atmosphere, chill tunes. 4 vegan options on the menu. I liked the vegan breakfast burrito with the Habanero Hot Sauce they provide. Also like the Merry Berry and Mango Mania smoothies. They also have Earth Balance spread for vegan buttered toast. They could improve on their vegan cheese though, it is a soy cheese and doesnt melt. I think Daiya slices would be much better in their dishes. Overall, will definitely come again!

Was lucky enough as first time guests to have the place to ourselves. My teenage son had a simple cheeseburger and practically inhaled the thing. Chicken lemon rice soup is spectacular in the Mediterranean tradition. Fresh ingredients expertly and lovingly prepared. We will continue to visit.

We usually order Down To Earth for lunch at the office! This place is family owned and they make the BEST food! everything is healthy and well made! lots of flavor! They tend to get very busy so make sure you get your order in early! They also make all their own natural juice! Portland Best

This is the BEST Breakfast Place in the Hillsdale-Multnomah Village area! The food is always fresh, well prepared and beautifully presented. Down to Earth is a family run, local restaurant and is a treasure for those who go there. My husband and I are "frequent fliers" of this restaurant.

Multnomah Village is a great area, and Marcos gets a lot of visibility being on the corner, but walk up half a block and you get Down to Earth. Its cozy and has friendly service. Marcos might be full a lot, but dont overlook Down to Earth.

Down to Earth cafe is popular for good reason. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. They have a coconut tomato soup that is the most amazing soup Ive ever had in my life. I recommend this as a perfect spot for brunch.

Great neighborhood spot. Friendly, tasty, inexpensive! Great lunch soups daily and super-healthy smoothies. Only improvement would be to offer some fessenjan or other Persian cuisine as daytime special. Great place.

The food is spectacular. They provide perfect portions, a cozy environment, and the coffee is great. I highly recommend the omelets, French toast, eggs benedict, and pancakes. Official brunch joint!

Really like the decor inside. The eggs benedict was excellent, the mango madness smoothie is perfect, the stuffed French toast is a sight to behold, and delicious. It didnt even need syrup. Fantastic!

The food is decent. I ended up here when Marcos was overfull. i had a cheese omelette with turkey bacon and it was pretty good. This isnt a place I would seek out but dont mind going.
