As far as food is concerned, they get it right sometimes. Their baked goods are good, but only if you get there in the morning and before the crowd. They leave their pasties in the too warm shelves for too long, making them tough, leathery, and stale tasting if you have a hankering for a pastry in the afternoon. Their sandwhiches can be either undercooked or burnt and somewhat pretentious sounding which does little for the actual taste of their food. Their baked artisian breads are good, but again, they are left out too long and become stale tasting quick... As far as service goes, be prepared to feel like a herded sheep going through their line. If you are disabled, about all I can say for access is be careful. The doors and parking is good, but the rope maze to get through to order anything is too narrow and hard to manuver if you are in a wheelchair or motorized scooter/wheelchair. The aisles and space between the tables likewise is hard to negotiate as well as getting to the restroom. If you have a service animal be prepared to be asked to LEAVE.. yes, their managers ask you for a health department card and/or service dog resgistration.. which there is NONE and non existent for service animals. They regularly violate ADA and Washington state lawregarding service animals.. If you have a service animal you do not have to provide PROOF to anyone nor do you have to carry a health card with you. They cannot ask you to prove your disability either... also the managers will threaten to call the police if you argue with them, again violating state and federal law using coercion and threat to you and your service animall

So im writing this review as I am still sitting inside the restaurant. My friend and I stopped in as she had never been here before, and we ordered chicken tortellini a side ceasar salad and a bread bowl of cheddar broccoli soup. Our order was first wrong as they had forgot both of our salads, then when we got our salad there was just enough dressing for one piece of lettuce as well as the croutons were ridiculously stale. On top of that my friend who had not been here found hair in her bread bowl, as well as in her pasta, gross. I personally did not like the pasta it was chewy and the chicken they use is like chicken of the sea out of a can, also not very good. I have been to one panera and it was on south hill and my food and order were just fine, I may attempt there one more time, but as far as this restaurant I will never be back and neither will my friend. Very unsatisfied of the food and there prices arent very good either. $20.00 a piece for not very big portions and food that taste like I could microwave it from a box at home....

Always great food her. If you enjoy a light/smaller meal, be sure and order a half. Regular whole sandwiches are about the size of your hand and a bowl is about 2 cups (for most items, broth bowls are larger for example). Sides are bread, Apple (small lunch sack size), or kettle chips. Bakery has an assortment or pastry, bagels and bread. Bread may be purchased whole or they will slice it. Kid menu Drinks are: assorted coffee, hot tea, cold teas, and Pepsi fountain. Price is varies, but plan about $10-$12 per person for lunch or dinner. Wifi available. Join the club and get free perks. Order via the app and pick up your bag and go! Order at table is not available at this location. Full calorie counts on menu or on MyFitnessPal

Customer service stinks from the cashiers. This was one of the biggest wastes of money Ive dealt with in a long time. First of all, who puts apple chips on a salad and calls it a fuji apple chicken salad? Reallly? Thats is so tacky and cheap. Next, my sandwich had so much mayo and mustard, they must have dumped the whole jar on it. Ive had it with this place. I saw people eating burnt panini sandwiches and everything. What a waste of money! Clean food? No way.

What happened to the Lakewood Panera? This is the second time in a row I got my order and it was wrong . The first time they put it on a plate instead of in a bag. I waited and waited for the food without knowing they had done so. They fixed it but a server took the bag out of my hand and walked away with it. The next time they got the soup wrong. Lettuce on the sandwich was wet, which made the bread soggy. Strike 2, Panera.

Panera Bread lately sucks! First they started putting spicy ingredients into the broth bowls. It was pretty good without. Not everyone can/want to eat spicy food. Then they removed from their menu fontina sandwich. Come on! Besides usually, no matter which store, their pasta is salty. What am I supposed to eat now Panera? Mac and chesse? I can have that anywhere including at home.

I prefer non-franchised bakeries and have my favorite when at home. When traveling however you are at the mercy of fate trying to find a decent bagel or pastry. Panera is always a safe bet on the road. Their bagels are not New York quality by any means but they are passable in a pinch. Everything else is delicious and the coffee is always good!

Great place and friendly service every time i come here. The food isnt in large portions as other reviewers have stated but that has never been what panera is about. They offer free wifi with plugins for electronics and so it can be used as a great place to study or work on homework or a project for work.

The food is definitely healthier than a fast food place but I agree with Mrs. B, I felt a lot like a herded sheep to the point of feeling insulted. I thought it could possibley be just a one time thing, but Ive been there three times now and feel like that everytime, maybe Im not pretty or preppy enough.

Id pass on this Panera. Food was very poor. Ordered the pasta and half of it looked and tastes like it was reheated. It was stiff and had no flavor. The employees were cleaning up and moving furniture around people as they were eating because it was close to closing time. Not a great experience.

This place is a goddamn dump. I get better soup from my unit. While out in the field. Whats also beyond stupid is how theyll be out of breadbowls. What in the actual ****?? Then freaking make some more its your freaking job. Thats like going to Burger King and theyre out of burgers.

Panera Bread has clearly made some significant cut backs. The sandwiches are much smaller and lack fillings they once had, plastic utensils, and some menu items are gone. Im not a big fan of the new formula. Oh well, the mac and cheese was still good.
