It has been 20 years+ since I started remember going here. It is located in a neighborhood right next to Halsey st. This place never dissapoint. The very best place to get banh MI sandwich. Forget Lee sandwiches and best baguette. The sandwiches are not as big compared to Lees or best baguette but the bread here, is go delicious. The Pâté chaud here is also delicious. They have open up another location on 78th se powell. If you want authentic Vietnamese food come here.

There are a few tables but most customers do take out. Whoever stole the outdoor table and chairs BRING THEM BACK! These vietnamese version of a submarine sanwich are amazing. They have the best French bread in town and the ingredients are all fresh. Very inexpensive and you can try one of the unique beverages such as an aloe vera or white birds nest fungus drink.

A very traditional bahn mi that highlights what a bahn mi is all about- the fresh baked bread! The fragrant meats and crisp fillings are an added bonus to the meal, an all around great neighborhood joint.
