Well my first time into the restaurant didnt know where to begin , no Hi ,welcome nothing ,i had to walk to the counter and ask. I was directed to the other counter where i placed an order , the person was like do you want this to go we close in like 30 mins, i said no i would like it here he responed well you can sit outside we close soon, ME- its ok i will sit outside, i never felt so unwanted in a restaurant just because you close in 30 mins you should seat up until the time you close not try and close 30 mins before.so i am sitting waiting for my food to be served and was handed to me in a togo bag.YUP IN A TOGO BAG!well i will not be going back there and the food was not all that great .if i wanted food in a bad to go i would have went to fast food place! wont be telling anyone about this place or if i do i will say how bad it was!

This is the best lunch spot in OC without a doubt! My husband and I go here at least once a week. Food is always good and so is the coffee!! They are pretty quick to get your order out too. The owner has done a great job on this place. The vertical gardens are amazing and the patio is beautifully decorated with plants and fish ponds. The furniture is second hand and mismatched which gives the place a lot of character and a lot of places to sit! There is also a small art gallery in back and I chess club that meets there. They also offer classes here and there on gardening and such. I love how singer hill has become apart of our community. If you are in OC this place is definitely worth a stop!!

New to the neighborhood, and I was excited to have a local cafe to walk to for coffee. I ordered a large Iced Americano, and wanted an extra shot. "I can give you an extra shot, but I will have to charge you for two because our machine only pour two shots." So I want an extra shot, but need to pay $2 extra ($1/shot). REALLY? Maybe you should just suck up the $.05-.10 extra that shot cost you, instead of charging me a $1 for something I dont want. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice, so I will still go, but not for espresso drinks (too weak without the extra shot).

What a beautiful restaurant! The garden room is such a serene place to have lunch. My mother and I went in the fall while it was rainy outside. It was so nice to get to sit in a garden and stay dry indoors. We also took a look around the outdoor garden. There are vertical gardens, archways and fountains. We are definitely going back in the summer! The Ham, Havarti & Pear sandwich was delicious and a lot of food. I was able to get two meals out of that. The staff was attentive and helpful.

My daughter and her two small children just moved to Oregon City and love to go to local coffee and breakfast places. Singer Hill Cafe is wonderful! What a delightful experience we had at Singer Hill Cafe where the staff was not only friendly but went out of their way to be kind. The food is reasonably priced, very good and the lattes are great! Thank you for the welcome you gave to us! We will be back :)

Great place for coffee or having a casual lunch. The food is fresh and the outdoor patio is something special. I love coming here in a sunny Saturday morning with my family for brunch. They have free wifi but its pretty slow. If you need to work grab some coffee or something from singer hill and walk across the street to the new library. Its quieter and has better internet.

Ordered a coffee (to go), the place wasnt particularly busy, and it took nearly 15 minutes for them to make. I thought maybe they forgot, so I said something and the lady snapped at me. When I finally got it, it was good, but the wait time and service was disappointing. Also, they dont make blended drinks, which I thought was kind of weird for a coffee place.

Fun little cafe in OC that feels like you are in Portland! (Oregon City needs more places like this). Eat outside in the summer time in the garden- there is a vertical garden growing on the side of the building that is super cool. I appreciate the vegetarian options and the fact that they serve stumptown coffee is great! Check this place out!

We had my wifes retirement party here and it was fabulous. Christie and her crew did a wonderful job. There was plenty of food and it was extremely tasty. The price was perfect. They couldnt have been nicer, friendlier or easier to work with - Id recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a place to have a catered party.

Waited in line for over 10 minutes then waited forever for a simple latte. They could only take cash at the time, which was fine by me but if I had waited all that time and had no cash I would have been super pissed. If you have a business, hire enough peiple ti run it. As it is, Ill never be going back.

What a find! Love everything about this place! Staff is friendly and efficent, drinks are top notch and the food..well it is amazing! Excellent lunch specials, great soups! This place has a cozy (despite its large 3 seperate rooms) home town feel. Enjoy the vertical gardens and art gallery inside.

They have a lot of good things going on for them with their good selection of coffee and tea, their food that is pretty tasty, awesome art galleries, and live bands (that I have yet to see here). If I had to some up what Singer Hill is, it is almost everything that makes up Oregon, in Oregon City.

We went here for lunch after a moms group meeting. We had five mamas and five babies in tow. They treated us so great and were very accommodating:) the food was wonderful and we felt very comfortable on the upper balcony seating area. I would highly reccomend this cafe bto anyone!!

Often have lunch here when I am managing the Three Rivers Artist Guild Gallery which is located in the same building. My favorite is their tomato soup with real chunks of tomato in it along with a grilled cheese sandwich. Give it a try and then stop in the gallery for a visit.

The food is great, the coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful and unique. The wall gardens provide a really need backdrop, and it has the feel of a small, home-town place, but the service and excellence of a big town chain. Definitely one of my favorites.

Where has this place been hiding? Its fantastic! Give yourself time to enjoy the place while they craft your meal. This is not a fast food joint. The turkey & cranberry sandwich was excellent. Try the bread pudding, too, with a big cup of Stumptown coffee.

My drink is served way after 2 people behind me. They know the barista and get to jump in front of me. That is not good customer service. The food is good and the serving lady is nice to me. Just the barista needs to improve customer service skills.
