Yesterday, we stopped by in this place after visiting Oregon garden to get dinner. We were two families with 3 little kids. First the guy said they dont have space for us and we need to wait for 20 minutes. We stepped out to wait but it was windy and because of kids we decided to wait inside at the entrance which was empty area with high chairs. I wanted to wash my sons hands (he is 3 years old) but he was fussy and started to cry (common for this age when they are hungry and tired). The guy said "he cannot do this" referring to himself. So he wanted us to leave. We have moved from Boston to Portland area recently and I have never had such an experience before. I havent tried the food here, it may be good but definitely people are not nice and not a family friendly place, not at all. We often dine out and I never ever had a problem in any place because of my son.

We that is a party of four came to the silverton grill hoping after watching and waitting for the new place to open, we were seated that was good the menu came we were treated very nicely,we ordered then the big shock the food came and we all looked at each other this is what we got for the money well any way were with good company lets eat, what a great disapointment any and I say any place in town would have been a bigger taste sensation , the friends we were with were planning before we even got there to buy gift card for other friends that did not happen, we all said after we got in the car we would never think of going back in there and we would not be surprised of things did not change if they would make a go of it.

These hospitality professionals check all the boxes, they outstandingly prepare and serve the freshest meals with a thoughtful wine selection and full bar. My hubs and I love to sit at the high chair entry area right in the bar, its a lovely drinking area for adults! We love sipping the most perfect Old Fashioned cocktails right there in the window, (with The Naughty Librarian!) Well done Silver Grille, you bet Ill be back.

The term "fine dining" actually belies the low key atmosphere of Silver Grille, but once you taste the food, youll get it. The pastas are out of this world good. Like, I-cant-find-this-in-Portland good. Add to this the quiet ambience, excellent servers, tasty cocktails, and well-curated wine list, and you really shouldnt bother having dinner anywhere else in Silverton.

Delicious inspiring food. The wine selection was plentiful and the wait staff was very helpful. The bathroom was clean and plenty big enough to accommodate a wheel chair. I dont recall a handrail though. Maybe one could be added. Definitely down town Portland fare in little Silverton.

One of the best meals of our 3 week vacation in the Pacific Northwest. All the details were just right. Carefully selected wines, right-sized entrees perfectly prepared, I could go on and on. I just wish we had a place near home that we enjoyed as much.

Had an excellent meal with friends last night, in this warm and intimate setting. Service was outstanding. Particularly enjoyed the house made charcuterie. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to my toughest to please friends.

The best restaurant in Silverton. They are very warm and welcoming with fantastic food. Very good for people that have special restrictions. They also remember you if you have been there a couple times and your tastes. Love it.

I am so lucky to have Silver Grille so close to home. The food is always special and Jeff and Naomi are fun and knowledgeable. They use fresh food from their own garden whenever possible.

Had the lamb ragout and the mushroom bisque. Food was outstanding and service was near perfect & great wine selection. Highly recommend. Make reservations before you go.
