Dont know how this place got the rating? Never ate at this place before, saw the rating so told my client to meet for lunch. First impression: the parking lot is small. As I walked into the restaurant, I can smell the food soaking into my clothes. I had three people in the party; asked for a table away from the crowd. The waiter did not smile; bluntly he answered "NO, that table (small table seats 5) is for larger group I need for you to seat at a smaller table." The waiter did not make an attempt to say sorry? I walked out of the restaurant. Met my client outside; surprised, she stated the owner did not let her sit at a larger table either! Dont know about the food, but if the owner does not care about customer service then they may not care about whats in the food......... Suggestion to the owner, change your management! We will not come back!!!

We came here based on others reviews of possible vegetarian or possibly vegan pho. Unfortunately there was no vegan pho, just beef and pork broth. We ordered the tofu salad rolls and werent completely convinced they did not have meat in them. Nonetheless, they were mediocre and flavorless at best. The peanut sauce was quite good though. We also ordered the Spicy Vegetable soup which the wait staff mentioned was totally vegetables and not using either of their pho broths. While there were only vegetables in the soup, we were not convinced that it was vegetable broth. Again, nonetheless, it was flavorless and mediocre. Im not sure what the good reviews mean about this soup being so awesome. Maybe our tastes are different.

This is one of the best places to go to for Thai food! I know there are plenty of reviews here that state its unclean but thats just not the case. This is one of those "hole in the wall" spots you hear about. Where they dont pay as much attention to detail in the decor as they do the food and getting it out the door. Ive never encountered unfriendliness, I have encountered a no nonsense attitude which I attributed to a busy schedule. For the cost of the food, amount you receive and the amazing taste, Ill forgo friendliness. Its a mentality I can respect. They are currently under renovation until May 25, 2016 (so no pork buns and bubble tee for me

Im a semi regular. Good homestyle pho. Not pricey. Their banh mi is good too, the meats and flavors are different. I love their pork pate chaud pastry and hot Vietnamese coffee, served traditional drip style. Usually its not busy, but today (Sunday) I went in at 11:30 and there were already 3 large groups and a woman ordering 10 sandwiches to go. By the time I left there were already 2 more large groups waiting. They were definitely understaffed today and so there was a lot of wait time for us to order, which is why I give them 4 stars.

Vietnamese delis are few and far between in the Portland metro area, and Tan Tan is likely the best one. They make a very good banh mi, using fresh crusty baguettes. Id recommend the BBQ pork and lemongrass chicken. Also recommended: Their Vietnamese coffees are strong and tasty, and theyve got many reasonably priced Vietnamese deli items available to go. Theres plenty of seating if you want to sit and take your time with one of their soup specials. A banh mi and coffee will set you back just below $5. Value lunch: enabled.

Been in Beaverton for six years and didnt know about this place. The Banh Mi Thit Nuong sandwich I had (grilled lemongrass pork) was perfect. Meat was very tender & flavorful, veggies fresh & tasty, and the bread was toasted crispy & chewy. Im not a huge fan of pho, but I had a bowl of the Banh Pho (rice vermicelli noodles with beef in beef broth) and now I want to try all of them! I highly recommend Tan Tan and would bet the farm you will would love it!

My wife and I went to this place today to try their Pho and I must say Im glad we went. I ordered the Pho with Beef, Beef meatball, tendon, brisket and noodles. the broth was superb. Will be a great place to go when its cold and rainy. My wife ordered one of the Vietmetnese sandwiches which are very unique and require an aquired taste. I love them myself. She was dissapointed that she didnt order the soup after she tried mine. We will go back!!

The guys working there were absolutely the best. They were very polite and helpful. I accidentally ordered the wrong sandwich and without any issue they switched it out. Then when I got in the car and took a bite - it was the best food decision Ive made. The lemongrass pork sandwich is so perfectly sweet and savory. I wish I lived closer because Id be spending my $3.50 there every day.

Great place, good service, and a large variety of food choices from pho to Viet sandwiches. They also serve all kinds of milk teas here including boba. They do have a lyche boba that I dont think any other boba shop in Beaverton has. I suggest you try a Taro smoothie (not Taro milk tea) with lychee boba (not jelly). The contrast between the two is amazing.

Easy parking either in the parking lot in front of the restaurant or on the street. Pretty crowded during lunch time and the restaurant seems to be clean. Ordered their duck noodle soup and it was delicious. Soup was hot and noodle was not soggy. Their duck was served on the side and they have managed to take out almost all the bones. Amazing!

Gotta love this place, the Pho is flavorful and abundant with tons of meat and fresh veggies, great noodle and rice plate options. The pate chaud is best in town! They also have Banh Mi, boba tea and many other dishes. Weekday lunch and weekends are super busy. Limited parking in front of business but plenty of street parking is available.

Very good all-around place for Vietnamese food in Beaverton. Everything from pho, to banh mi, to bubble tea can be had at this place. They may not be the BEST at any of these items, but they are very good at all of them. Also, the staff is super friendly here which goes a long way towards a pleasant meal experience. One of our area favorites!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Place was packed, but server was quick, knowledgeable and friendly. Tried a few of the banana leaf wrapped snacks, wasnt our thing. The coconut steam bun and the pork belly wrap appetizers were awesome though. The meat combo plate was good, the curry rice and soup were OK. Overall 4/5, would come back.

Good food, good service, but limited and tight parking. We tried the signature pho and durian smoothie. The pho had very flavorful delicious soup, the portion was average sized. The durian smootie which is made with fresh (albiet likely frozen) fruit was really fantastic, it tasted like you were eating real durian.
