Above average Mexican food. Ive been eating here over a decade and it has stayed pretty consistently good. The salsa is great. I love the Chile relleno. Beans and rice are tasty. The carne asada is very good, but it sure has changed in price over the years; It was around $12, now over $20. However, it is enough for two light eaters, especially with endless chips and salsa. Staff has been pretty consistently friendly over 10 years, they remember us even if we havent come in for months. They can be busy, especially the weekend, but service still stays good. The restaurant has always been kept quite clean. Overall its my favorite Mexican restaurant in this entire area.

This is a really nice neighborhood cantina and restaurant. The wait staff is friendly the food and drinks are good quality. Im in here every friday and its always a positive experience. Come on in and grab a margarita. Then go directly accross the accross the parking lot and get your membership to b-fit fitness club. And grab some good deals at the grocery outlet... Its all right here

Dont let the strip mall locale fool you, this place is really good! Strong margaritas, crispy chips and spicy salsa all keep me coming back. The pollo en mole is a favorite, but Ive also learned to try the specials - they come up with some off the wall combos, but theyre always tasty. Sit in the bar to avoid waiting for a table.

Cool atmosphere, like being in a coastal Mexican village. These people are the master of the margarita as well with many handmade varieties to choose from and a good selection of tequilas. Food is good with reasonable prices,but the service was over the top! You really feel you are being "served" in every aspect at La Costita.

Decent little Mexican place with good food and very friendly staff. The food was your average Mexican fair, but I dont think the tortilla chips you get before your meal were fresh or made there, which was disappointing. The burrito I got was good. Will return when I get a hankering for Mexican.

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Ordered fajitas for two and this wacked out waitress brings us 3 tortillas....what the hell is wrong with this picture. We get our food in stages, drinks are subpar... the list is endless. I will NEVER eat at this piss poor place ever again.

Great food. Ceviche was amazing! They also have great huevos rancheros. I love when a Mexican restaurant serves egg dishes all day long. The owner is nice and makes sure he spends time with his customers and employees making sure everyone is having a good time!

The four stars apply only to the food, which is always exceptional. Everything else about La Costita is a crapshoot. The service is always slow, and occasionally delightful. You never know what kind of experience youll get, so o suggest calling in an order.

Our usual "family night out" spot. Good variety on kids menu, for the little ones and, they accommodate the older kids with the menu. Always friendly staff and, great food to price value. Usually have plenty to bring home.

Best Mexican food Ive had in a long time good stiff drinks and friendly staff. Food portions are huge and reasonably priced at about $20 a person including drinks. You wont leave hungry that I promise.

Great place to go for Authentic dishes of yummy food. It has been the place to go since they removed Azteca at the Town Center mall. Great service and fun place to go for parties or happy hour.

Seems like the farther away from the boarder you get the more grengo the food becomes. This place had good food not as authentic as the places in East LA but good. I would eat here again.
