Im only giving 4 stars on this one, but it might be unfair cause they were really really busy when we went there. But nonetheless, there were a few issues. Ill start with the interior, it was loaded up with tables, but there was still enough space to get around and you were right up next to your neighbors. They also had an outside space that looked great, except I was there during a windstorm basically, so that was out. How about the beer? Its brewery right? Well, its good. I ended up with a few pints of a tasty acai wheat, which was light and crisp. I was unable to get their big sampler though for some reason. I saw others with it, but I guess they ran out or something :( The food? I got the Tri Tip sandwich and it was really good. You could taste the smoke. My wife got the Fish and Chips and she liked it. My daughter got a basic burger though, and apparently that didnt work out. She described it as "Crunchy" and in her defense it actually kind of was. The desserts were OK, except the were out of the 2 we wanted. The service was to be expected w/ how busy it was. Not great, but they were trying and it wasnt that bad. Everyone was friendly. Id stop in here again for sure, and maybe Id be able to get the big Sampler and an Oreo Truffle :)

We were here in January 2016. Although it was cold and it was a week night, the place was still packed! We sat at the bar and enjoyed wonderful beer and service! (This review is purely about the beer since we did not have any food). They have a wide selection of beers on tap. Really, there is something for everyone! I tried a few samples and eventually fell in love with the Organic Amber Ale, although the Blonde is a close second. My boyfriend enjoyed the Organic IPA and the Blonde too. The bartender was quite busy, but always friendly and very attentive. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because this place feels more like a restaurant than a brewery. I prefer places where the focus is on the beer! Although we sat at the bar, the restaurant section behind us detracted from our overall "brewery" experience. The restaurant was busy though, so I imagine the food must be good too :) Overall, this was a great place with tasty beer and good service. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again! Update: My local Safeway has started selling the Organic Amber Ale!!! So excited :)

Came in with a gift certificate stating only that it was valid for "dinner for 2," so when we sat down, we inquired as to what it covered. The waitress told us curtly it covered 2 dishes. So we proceeded to order some beers and decide on the menu items. Came up with two choices off of the dinner menu. Went to order with the waitress, and she decided to inform us, after deciding what we wanted and waiting 10 minutes for her to take the order, that the coupon was NOW only valid for two sandwiches. A coupon for "dinner for 2" apparently equals "two sandwiches". We got an appetizer as well, but we noticed this was covered by the gift certificate when paying... Could we have gotten a second app? A dessert even?! Well never know now due to vague gift certificates and vacuous waitresses. Also went during happy hour, and the happy hour pricing wasnt offered or recommended by the waitress. Food was alright, got the mushroom app which was flavorless. The Reuben sandwich was solid and my fiancee was happy with his order, only reason its got stars at all.

I will truly never forget this place. I stumbled across it on a 3 day reggae festival up in Humboldt. The food and drinks were off the hook! Theyre beer was so--- good. I was there in August of 2008 and had their darkest brew The Triple Exultaion or was it the Ravens eye?. Anyways, great experience all the way! The food was excellent as well. I had their porterhouse steak sandwich with onion rings. But the highlight are the faces of the local people -All of whom were some of the most friendly people Ive ever come across in my entire life! It was like being transported to another world. Must be the air. The scenery is entirely green and fresh while the tables outside are very well spaced out while sitting on a huge beautiful lot. Youd be surprised as being outside was pretty spectacular on a sunny day! This was the highlight of my eating experience while visiting Humboldt.

We had a group of 4 come in, after waiting for about 15 minutes a lady came over to take our drink order, stating our server was very busy and would be with us to take our food order shortly. Four groups who had come in after us and were in our same section and had the same waiter as us had already been seated, drink order taken, and food order placed by now. After we ordered the food came pretty quick which was cool, but all 4 of us had our order messed up. My wife ordered a pulled pork sandwich and got a trip tip au jus instead, which was not very appetizing at all. The beer was good though, the one saving grace. We came in at 8pm and didnt leave until almost 10pm, the entire evening felt like waiting around and bad food.

This place has gluten free meals labeled on the menu. I told them I had Celiac disease and that I was very sensitive to gluten so I wanted to clarify a few things. I first ordered the potato skins because they were labeled gluten free and our server assured me that they were not put in the shared fryer. She came back and said that she was wrong and that I would need to order something else. I ordered the Greek salad. It came with a piece of bread on the salad. I asked her to remake it since the bread on the salad would get me very sick. She came back 5 minutes later with what I thought was a new salad. Im now sick, so she clearly didnt have them remake the salad. Dont eat here if you have celiac disease!!!

First they forgot to bring my beer after waiting a long time for it. The two different beers we ordered (IPA & Ale) were marginal. Then it took them an hour to get us the food we ordered. By then it was freezing outside, and their outdoor heaters were placed too high to make a difference. But the kicker was the food was absolutely horrible. Tri-tip was poor quality and like rubber. Ribs were overcooked and chewy. Even the nachos were burnt, with the chicken on top bone dry. Server was pretty nice, and atmosphere pretty good (horse shoe pit was cool touch), but Id still never go back there.

The food was oustanding! The service was second to none! After my wife received her seafood soup and gave me a taste I had to have a cup along with my meal. It was brought out in less than a minute! Even though we were stuffed we tried the Oreo Truffle Dessert (which we received in about 30 seconds after ordering) and we havent tasted dessert like it in a long time!! All this was done with our waitress waiting on about 4-5 additional tables at the same time in the same way!! I only wish we had a place like it close to our place of residence!
