I dont know where to begin!! Ever since my culinary degree and my few years as a chef i have been looking for a relativity low priced burger joint with a near perfect burger. WOW did they hit the mark! Everything was uber fresh. I had the the Big Cheese kobe with avocado and mushrooms and a side salad. Mushrooms were cooked perfectly, i couldnt believe that they had found fresh ripe avocado in November! They make their own bread and i even believe they make their own ranch! The serves was fast but not too fast. The atmosphere was nice and laid back but was also a little quirky with the superman figurines sitting on top of the ledge about the menu on the wall. They even had a little table with toys for kids and two TVs with Monday Night Football on. AWESOME! i so plan on going back the first chance i get!!!!!!!!

I really wanted to like this place. Its convenient in the heart of down town LO, with parking right there and beautiful looks out to the lake. The wait staff were friendly, it wasnt crowded and there were a few good menu options. Although the menu was not up to date with what wed looked at online. My main issue with this place is that for a Burger place, they didnt make the burger front and center...I at least expected to be asked how Id like my burger cooked. As I wasnt, I thought Id see if they had some classic way, but alas it was just plain and underdone, a dry burger. Id hoped paying for additional jalapenos would be good, but again they lacked flavor and heat. This place could be great, if some care was put in, but for now there are better options around.

I gave this place a second chance because I hoped the first was a fluke, but it wasnt. The service on a nearly dead afternoon was essentially nonexistent: surly and brisk. The fries were great the first time and limp the second. Burgers were just as bad. Its high-quality beef (which is reflected in the price), but they cook it well done regardless of whether they simply neglect to ask for your preference or you specifically ask for medium. Since this is Oregon, I dont feel badly saying it should be a crime to ruin such good beef. Really, the only things this place has going for it right now are the location and the decor (which are both lovely because its Lake Oswego). Take your business elsewhere unless you dont care about food or service.

The "Blast Burger" was 1/4 pound burger on a over sized bun which was dead on arrival, its last remnants of life left while sitting in the kitchen window. Furthermore the bun to burger ratio is reminiscent of a teenagers inadequacies by purchasing an over sized condom to impress the ladies but only for them sorely disappointed when the meat comes out. Speaking of inadequacies 90% of the fries where less than 1-2" long, for the money you dont serve that kind of schwag. While the service was nice enough I felt the was a significant amount of discombobulation. If you want a burger go somewhere else.

I received a bloody burger after specifically saying “no pink.” The waitress took it back and the chef put the burger back on the grill. Keep in mind I had taken a bite out of it and put ketchup on it. The chef placed the original burger back on the bed of salad and thought it was okay. After I had received the burger the 2nd time I was mortified with the service and lack of food handling. The manager that night said we should come back a different night when that chef isn’t there! Overall, poor service, rude chef and too spendy for the lack of service you receive!

Good burger. I was happy with my order, but nothing spectacular and a bit expensive. I prefer Little Big Burger, but this is a convenient location if youre not in Portland. I was turned off by the restroom situation--you need to actually leave the restaurant proper and go upstairs to a shared space. Fries were great--shoestring style, and I had a friendly server. They also do root beer floats, which I thought was great for a burger establishment; a fun drink to have with dinner.

NOPE. Slow service, food sat under the heat lamps, those are NOT hand-cut fries (unless they were hand cut by a Sysco employee pulling a lever at the factory), and our two servers were most likely nice people, but couldnt even really manage the basics (who ordered what, asking if our party of 10 might want split checks, water refills, etc). Oh, and even without any of that, these arent $12-16 burgers.

The burgers typical Portland (throw all the crazy toppings on a burger and top with mayo) but the grilling is amazing. If you love typical burger joints in Portland pick anything from the menu and you will be happy, other wise stick with a plain cheese burger. This place peaks in the summer at lunch so sometimes there is a wait. Staff is fun, good milk shakes. Top tier for lake oswego

We visited Blast Burger on April 8th, 2016 to enjoy some burgers with friends for dinner. In short: It was so crowded our food came 45 minutes after we ordered and the burgers were just "eh". Overall: If its crowded you will have a very long wait time for your order and may not enjoy the food as other burger joints may be better with less of a wait time.

When my family first saw blast burger was going in we were very excited. Although the first few times we went there the service was bad and it was not somewhere we wanted to go often. Then i think there was a slight switch in management and the joint turned around it one of our favorite places to go and recently it has become our favorite spot.

the owner has no idea what he is doing. treats his employees horribly and will be out of business in no time. the service is mediocre, the staff are morons, a different owner could make worlds of difference. overpriced, ive had better. lake oswego deserves more from a burger place!

Great burgers! Ive been there twice and have had the Italian Stallion and the BBQ burger, both really good, but spend the extra and get the Kobe beef patty. Easily the most tender burger ive ever had. Sweet potato fries and NFL redone make this place my new favorite burger joint

I enjoy eating at Blast Burger. The location and atmosphere is great and relaxed. The food has been good and very enjoyable on the few occasions Ive been there. At times the service can be less than charming, but it doesnt keep me from eating there. Good place and recommended.

Went here for the first time and the food is GREAT! The burgers were large and juicy and their fries rock too. Its a little pricy, but its on par with the area. Burgers range from $10-$15. I will definitely be adding this place to my lunch rotation.

Great location but the service is actually pretty pathetic. Waited 20 minutes before anyone came over to or table. It wasnt busy and I know they knew we were here because I asked if we were supposed to seat ourselves. Oh well.

Burger on Shrooms comes with "fresh local mushrooms". No, it came with grey canned mushrooms. Terrible service also. Good atmosphere and barely decent food. $12 for a burger should come with much better service and food.
