Ive never had such a bad experience going out to eat. My friend and I walk in and there is a man at the counter. When we walk up to him there is no greeting, just silence and staring. My friend orders the chicken nachos. Fine. I see that flautas are on the menu, along with many other options, but I order that. "We dont have that." He says with no explanation. Ok. I order an enchilada. "We dont have that." He says again and stares, unapologetic. Ok. So I ask "What do you have?" Feeling awkward. He says "tacos and burritos". "Ill have a burrito then." "You can have a taco" and points to the picture on the menu. "No. Ill just have the chicken nachos." Like my friend had ordered without a problem. Then paid and sat ourselves. He brought us our nachos after about 15 mins. Then left and came back with napkins and plastic forks. He disappeared behind his counter and we never saw him again. Good thing we didnt need anything, he left is for dead. The food was medicore. The restaurant was dirty; tables uncleaned, stained booths and dusty window sills. We will never go back and Im making sure my friends and family never go there and have this experience. Just go to El Terrero in Harrisburg if you want good Mexican food near JC. Its definitely worth the less than 10 min drive!

If youre looking for a place that brings out chips and salsa and offers nachos on the menu, this is not for you. However, if you are looking for fantastic Mexican, this is the place. Simple decor (one step up from a taqueria) and simple service. Food is made-to-order goodness, tacos, burritos etc. with a wide variety of meats (depending on whats available at the time). If youre looking for something tamer, they have the best fried fish (talapia) Ive had outside of the south.

Best ingredients at a burrito joint that you will ever find! I seriously cannot emphasize this enough!! Family owned and operated. Competitive prices and large burritos. Their Tortas are great too! Best sammys in town actually. Also, one of the few restaurants left around with the little mexican sodas in the glass bottles. They even have strawberry! Plenty of restaurant style both seating. All in all a wonderful place to grab a burrito.

Worst place ever, went here, they had a display of combination plates , I asked for one and they said they didnt have it. It was a man that just stares at you and is not friendly and tells you you can only have a taco or a burrito. I order, then the food that came was all dry and reheated. Way too salty and not good food at all. Never coming back. Inside looks dirty too. If you want real Mexican food go to el taco express.

Total joke. I went there when no one was there. I asked for a chicken burrttio w/o beans. He told me he couldnt make it and suggested I order a casadilla. I asked "Do you have Chicken burritos?" He said "Yes". What is in them I asked. He told me Chicken, rice, cheese, beans.." I then asked again "Cant you just make a chicken burrito w/o the beans?" He said "No". Super lame.

This is a quaint restaurant that is quick, affordable and delicious. I went to lunch orderd two bean and cheese burritos (it came with onions) and a medium drink and spend just under $5. And it was quick! Some of the items on the menu were sold out. But the burritos were tasty! I will come again and bring my friends. They also have a microphone system set up for Karaoke!!!

Probably, my favorite Mexican restaurant in Oregon. I have been all over, and this is what you want in Mexican food. I love the place. If you have never eaten here, and youre use to the Disneyland style Mexican experience, you may feel uncomfortable (looking at other reviews), but yeah you cant beat it. And I think the owner is a food genius.

These are easily the best burritos in the are, if not the state. During summer, street tacos grilled up outdoors made to order, just as good as the burritos. The only downside to this place is the lack of quality as a sit down restaurant, but I choose to not think of it like that and more of a Mexican food stand.

Best Mexican food on the Willamette valley hands down.. spicy pork anything is beyond amazing. Dont expect some fancy place with waiters serving your every wish, you get great Mexican food not many smiles.... but hey when you are in a hurry who wants a chatty Kathy anyway.

Probably best mexican in lane county but the guy is kinda a dick. They never answer the phone if your trying to call ahead and just cause google says there open isnt necessarily the truth. Besides that its better than all the other B.S mexican food around here.

Authenticity is key. The burritos and tacos are absolutely delicious. I wouldnt go here expecting a super friendly greeting when you walk through the door or conversation after ordering, but I would come here if you want the best Mexican food in town.
