La Rockita is always where you can find a damn good burrito, but the service here has lacked on a couple of visits(things like messing up an order, taking a long time, dirty tables, etc) but nothing that would stop me from being a repeat customer. Ive also noticed that they tend to close early when they feel like it. I called once after expecting to show up for dinner half an hour before and received an excuse that they had run out of product. I would be more apt to believe this if they didnt "run out" every other night or so. Schedule well in advance of closing time, and youll have yourself the best burrito in town.

I love this place. Breakfast burritos are huge, guac and salsa are good, daily specials that arent too expensive and portions are good sized. I really like the fish tacos and the verde enchiladas. I would give it another star but one of the cooks is awesome and the other one is just ok. One time you might get perfectly cooked shrimp, another time its a bit rubbery. One time you get 4 fish tacos, another time only three. But it always tastes good and I never feel like I didnt get my moneys worth

Ate at the 9th Street location the food was great at the downtown location ordered the same item "Shrimp in a Cream Sauce" and it was terrible. The sauce was not a cream sauce it was a red sauce at the 9th Street location it came with avocado and a small salad not at the downtown location. Even the tortillas downtown were not as warm or as moist as the 9th Street location. Will not be back to downtown restaurant.

Nice spot! Friendly people, decent variety, good food. I got an order of carne asada. The steak was delicious but a bit saltier than most Ive tried, rice and beans were tasty but served in rather small portions. Didnt try the horchata but will be sure to next time! Was ready to pay for chips and salsa since they arent included with lunch, but they gave me them for free.

As a local, La Rockita will forever in my heart and engraved in my brain as the former La Roca. If you are in the mood for some quick, fast and friendly service La Rockita is the place to go! I definitely recommend getting the chicken burrito with a side or red or green sauce on the side (both are great), you WONT be disappointed!

La Roca, now La Rocita, offers truly authentic Mexican home cooking just like we made for our family in New Mexico. It is NOT TexMex. It IS real homade Mexican that you would find in Baja and mainland Mexico. It is home away from home. If you want to tast real Mexican food then go to La Rocita.

Staff was constantly making sure all customers were taken care of. Friendly atmosphere. And im pretty sure this place has the biggest Burrito in town! Put me in a food coma. 3 meats... smh. Enjoy! Good luck...

It was the worst, MY enchilada was Premade micro headed, the cheese Was hard, MY Chile relleno was way Low o.k. MY rice & beans/ o.k. and My tablespoons of salad, was lost. "I was warned"

Not as good as the one on 9th, or the original in Phil. Dont know why they dont stick to the normal recipes, but you would be better off going down the street to other locations.
