The atmosphere of Saucy is the big draw for this resurant. The beer and wine options are another big draw here. Saucy has a great assortment of local brews from all around the North Coast. The big problem I have with Saucy is the food. My party ordered two pizzas and two salads and an order of bread sticks. To begin, the bread sticks were slightly undercooked and overly greasy. Even with its poor preperation, the breadaticks were tasty (although the marinara sauce left much to be desired) I ordered the Hot Lei pizza for my meal. Upon arrival of my pizza I was immediately disappointed with the build of the pizza. I like a good thin crust pizza, but the bottom of the pizza was not completely cooked and almost non existent making eating the pizza a sloppy mess. The other pizza ordered arived in similar fashion. The pizza was tasty, but like the bread sticks suffered from being undercooked. The salads ordered looked great but were underwhelming due to the lack of any substance. A basil avacado salad is not four leaves of basil with a quarter of an avacado, three cherry tomatoes, and some cheese. More importantly, said Basil Avacado salad should not run you nine dollars. Finally, the staff was underwhelming which takes away from the experience. Overall I feel that Saucy is doing the pub side of their business really, really well. For the price of their food though, they cannot have inconsistent production of their dishes. My hat is off to the chef for producing an awesome menu, just make sure it comes out ready. My recommendation for Saucy is to make it an early part of your pub crawl, or a destination for business over drinks.

We just got into town and was ready for dinner. After inquiring about local restaurants in the area from the front desk staff at our hotel. Saucy was one of 3 recommendations. We decided to have pizza, so we went. After getting there at around 5:15pm. We were (6)seated and given menus. After about 15 minutes or so, the server returned and explained the menu to us. She brought water and took our drink order. Later returned to get our starter order. That came to the table in a reasonable time. It is now about 5:50 when she took our pizza order. After waiting what seemed to be a long, long time. We asked her how soon would we be getting our food. She said not long now.(6:15). It is now 7:05pm and still no pizza. We all got up to leave, left the money to pay for the 2 soft drinks and the appetizer. The server came back and I said weve been here for over 2 hours and no food, we are leaving. It was quite the ordeal. She never offered us anything to hold us until the food came, never even refilled the water glasses. I would never, ever come back or recommend this place to anyone. After getting back to the hotel, we informed the front desk staff. They apologized and said they would not recommend it to anyone else.

The server was nice and the food was ready very quickly which was awesome. That said, the menu was full of fancy, hipster items that didnt sound that great, we were just looking for more standard Italian food. We ordered a pizza and pasta to share between the two of us and the food was okay, not horrible but nothing to write home about. But the bill, $37 for a small pizza, small pasta, and a drink?! Thats the first time Ive ever had room for desert (I didnt even want to look at the prices on the desert menu). We could have gone to Olive Garden and gotten twice the food, paid half as much, and it would have tasted twice as good! Overall the restaurant was clean, server was nice, food was okay, but it was really overpriced for what it is and Im still hungry...

Visit was 4-17-17 Gumba pizza 12 inch had a great flavor and crispy crust, too much garlic though- ( 2 or 3 cloves of garlic on each pizza slice ). Pizza is the right size for 2 people with a mild appetite. The stray chewy noodles on the pizza were not good. Truffle chips Great idea but way too much salt and greasy. The salt overpowered the truffle flavor. Arnold Palmer Made with a perfect ratio of tart tasty lemonade with delicious iced tea, 1 free refill. Atmosphere was great, tight seating area small historical building. Friendly staff. A bit pricey For the two of us we paid $36 ( tip included ) for the Gumba 12 inch pizza, the truffle chips and 2 Arnold Palmers ( 1 free refill ).

The prices are way too high for the portions you receive. The food is okay but as a restaurant specializing in pizza I was a bit disappointed with the topping choices. I like pizzas that are full of toppings and bursting with flavor. Saucys pizzas seems to be limited to one or two toppings, sparsely sprinkled on the crust. The sauce amount on the pizza, although a nice flavor, was way too thin for my liking.

What a flavorful surprise discovering Saucy! Loved this happy hip foodie find in Ukiah. Based on a recommendation during a recent trip to Mendocino County we stopped for dinner and so glad we did. Delicious crispy tangy calamari and sensational Salsiccia pizza paired perfectly with their local wine selection. Food and service was top shelf.

Ordered the Jacob Marley Pizza. 12" for two is a perfect size. Pizza flavorful, very even tastes. Ghost pepper salami has a slight kick to it, yet not so overwhelming that the taste of the sauce is washed out. HUGE local brewery beer selection, with a classy but easy going atmosphere. This place makes Ukiah look good.

Absolutely delicious food with great service. Highly recommend the burrata appetizer! The owner greeted us and stopped for a chat when she was clearly very busy preparing for a catering event. We will come back when were in the area. By the way, we saw their mobile pizza oven which looks super awesome!

Got their NYC diesel pizza and it was garbage. Whomever named it hasnt had NYC pizza because Saucy pizza didnt even touch on it. Very weak tasting and basic. The sandwich my wife got wasnt bad at all, they need to give up the pizza game and stick to sandwiches...or at least rename their pizzas

The pizza and salads were delicious. The service was speedy and the food came out fresh and warm. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed and quiet. I enjoyed sitting on the second floor. The only complaint is that the bathrooms could have been a bit more well maintained.

While driving through, two times now Ive stoppedcat Saucy. They are that good! Last time they messed up the order, but righted the issue super quick and gave us a free pizza. Get the befuddled pig pizza, you will end up eattibg the whole thing!

Really delicious pizza. Good restaurant in Ukiah. Worth visiting. I am giving it a four star because the service was slow when we visited. There are only two persons working on serving busy Saturday lunch crowd.

They where OK. For the price I wasnt impressed. We got the 007 pizza. I thought it was bland as well as the appetizer meatballs. Their chocolate mousse was on point though!!

Delicious! We had the salsiccia and the fennel pollen was phenomenal! The beet salad was decent and tasty, nothing too special. Its pretty pricey for a 12" pizza though...

Saucy is the finest fresh made pizza restaurant period. Service is professional and yet personal. I recommend you go there often. Say hello to Mel when you visit.
