If you are a service memeber looking to recreate the fabulous and awful Mexican food experience from Afghanistan and Iraq I strongly recommend this place! I really think this also falls behind the Chicken and Salsa MRE. Another great idea would be getting a large group together and eating here before going to the beach to laugh and see who runs back to the bathroom first! We had the kids with us and their idea of a kids quesadilla was two tortillas with a glob of cheese. It tasted much like what i assume Spanish-made drywall would taste. The beans more than likely could have been used as backup grout if you are in the area and want to do any tile work. The portly waitress brought me the wrong food and laughed when she dropped the silverware on one of the kids. All in all this is a perfect example that Mexican food restaurants can survive in tourist traps much like cockroaches. Great place to take in-laws, soon to be ex girlfriends, and Liberals!

My family loves to come here. Its got tasty food and the staff is always very friendly. They only have one vegetarian option, unfortunately, but its a top-notch veggie burrito. They serve quite a bit of food on your plate so its a great place to dine if youre hungry. The prices seem reasonable, especially considering the amount you get and the quality of the dish. The decor is pretty tacky but its a charming little place nonetheless. Its never loud here in my experience so its a nice calm atmosphere for relaxing with your family. We usually run into neighbors so it has a welcoming vibe and is definitely frequented by locals. Id recommend checking it out if you like Mexican food. The location really convenient if youre local and dont quite live in either Seaside or Astoria.

* Legitimately Authentic Mexican Food* Drinks(waters) are hands down the best Ive ever had, not even my nana can make them taste like this(sorry nana). The Carne Asada is filleted at a perfect cut. Chicken is seasoned beyond great taste. Received beans are fried with "Manteca" not like most places. The tamales are some of the best. Truly guys, I know what Mexican food should taste like and this is better than that benchmark.

Ate there 3/28/17 pm got sick within 10 minutes. Manager could have cared less. Bad enough that it was a projectile vomit all over the shink, mirror and wall. The manager could not wait for us to leave. He was told 2 times the foods made me sick, he just ignored us. We were not after a free meal we paid, but damn dude check the chicken its gone bad.

Sadly although the older gentleman that waited on us was pleasant and likeable. The water glasses have been neglected for so long there is a film of filth that you can remove with your thumb nail only. There was a bottom lip print on my sons glass. The food was palatable but nothing to brag about. The plates it was served on were beautiful .

if you want real authentic Mexican Food! this is the place to be. they have a very extensive menu one of my favorites is the Molcajete which is serve in a really hot lava rock plate, inside the plate awesome pinto beans with Chorizo also carne asada and shrimp with a touch of grilled Nopales.

Im not usually a fan of Mexican food, but my family is, and I was out numbered. But, this was by far the BEST Mexican food Ive had. The enchiladas, tamale, and chilie relano were SO good!! And the steak diablo/ carne asada (not sure what it was called) was amazing!! We will be back.
