The customer service at this place has really gone downhill over the years that Ive been coming here. Tonight (February 16th, 2015), I went in to get coffee with my girlfriend, and she ordered a cinnamon roll. After one bite, she could tell that the roll was very dry and stale. No problem, we thought, well just go and get a refund from the barista. The barista informed us that "refunds are not given", despite the fact that the pastry was dated for four days prior. However, she did offer to exchange it for another pastry, of which were 5 days old. Not wanting another stale pastry, we just asked to exchange the pastry for a coffee. The barista said that her manager "wouldnt allow it", and that the said manager was "unavailable" to speak with regarding this. Very disappointing, considering I have had so many good experiences here, but the customer service and quality of this place has really gone downhill. If youre wanting coffee, and only coffee, youre probably going to be fine, unless you need a refund for something made wrong, but definitely steer away from anything but that from here, save yourself a headache, and go anywhere else in town to get something made fresh (such as the Humble Bagel, less than a block away. Very fresh food there.)

When will small coffee shops learn? The only reason we millennials buy overpriced, over-burnt coffee is so that we can hook up to the wifi and work. Not so at Allan Bros. Their wifi is not only limited bandwidth, its slow as molasses. My memories of dial-up are faster than what the Beanerys trying to pass off as wifi. No surprise the only people who frequent this coffee shop are all silver haired and fondle the pages of environmentally damaging newspapers. Keep up with the times, Allan Bros. Want the next generation? Better get some good internet and give it freely. Until then this is the first and last cuppa anything that Im going to buy from you. Back to Starbucks it is...

Very sad cafe. Cold case has 3 items on display, all of which look like they were purchased at a grocery deli. The coffee is strong, but the added sweeteners and milk ingredients degrade its flavor. My iced mocha tastes like I made it at home with ingredients bought from Safeway. Lastly, the dusty parking lot with rows of dumpsters and dirty broken cars is an unfortunate sight from the tables inside.

This place makes some delicious coffee and they offer some of the best baked goods. I would recommend their Broccoli Cheddar Quiche...so good. And the young lady working behind the counter was very helpful. If I had to choose which location I prefer, itd have to be this one over 5th. Also, Im no longer in school, but seems like a chill place to study or get work done.

I am visiting from Arizona and I love this place. This is the only coffee shop where I dont feel awkward, cuz everyone is just as laid back as I am. Maybe thats just a Eugene thing. Very cool place. And right around the corner from the airbnb Im at.

Allann Brothers is a great coffee shop with good coffee and plenty of outlets for those of us whose computer batteries arent too strong. The staff is friendly and the prices not too bad.

Nice mellow coffee shop, good prices and a nice atmosphere. Staff are friendly and quick with orders. Furniture gets uncomfortable after about an hour, so its hard to linger.
