I order coffee & a scone/or bagel as my morning routine. Break Points location is convenient to enjoy my coffee en route to the office. But the girls have consistently & daily given rude, discourteous service. Two of the girls (a brunette & blonde) have taken it upon themselves to serve all my orders with bitterness & haughty disdain. They also think it entertaining & humorous to consistently make my order wrong. If I order no whip - I will get whip. If I specifically say one straw - theyll walk away, & "forget" then give two or none. I order butter on my bagel - Ill receive cream cheese or nothing. I order my coffee extra hot - it will be mediocre warm, etc, etc... Also, when paying with a debit card, the clipboard is tossed at me, with a snippety curt order, saying "sign this". Two days ago, my daughter accompanied me & ordered a vegetarian sandwich, but of course received turkey instead & this was after waiting 30+min because they "forgot". When Ive asked to correct "mistakes", they give the pretense of surprise, (apparently to convince the others of innocence?) Its unfortunate, because the third employee on the morning shift is a sweet girl (with long brunette hair), if it were only her, my morning coffee routine would be pleasant. My daughter orders coffee & breakfast 2-3x per week, & also has received blatant, contemptuous, rude service at Break Point, always making sure they let her know she is unwelcome. But my daughters tolerance is lower than mine, and she quit Break Point months ago. We dont quite know why these girls find such enjoyment out of treating regular customers so rudely, but Ive concluded its just not worth starting my day with a dose of bitternes. For too many months Ive overlooked the sour, snotty attitudes, & continued out of convenience, hoping over time the rotten service might get better. Its not worth it! I will now be driving (5 min downtown) for fresh bakery & delicious hot coffee, served with a simple and very appreciated smile!

Horrible customer service! Us as a clinic take advantage of the happy hour, We had a co-worker go get us our afternoon order which we do often and a gentleman very rudely told her to next time fax the order in without offering a fax number and have never been directed to "fax an order in" before .. Also told her next time we come in we would be charged full price! Pretty unprofessional to offer a service you dont want to honor fairly! Looks like we will be going right across the street to DUTCH BROS FROM NOW ON! We will gladly take out service else were

I have never been here and will never go there. Today they were very rude and hateful to my disabled daughter. She was so excited to have a job and went early. She was going to get coffee here but it was closed because of the holiday weekend. They came outside and asked her to leave. Telling her they owned the property and did not allow loitering.

I just moved to the area. I was walking my dog this morning and I stopped in for a coffee and a sandwich. Reading the reviews below, I am very surprised with the experience I had. My sandwich was SLOPPY and my Almond Joy ( I got the special of the day) taste like chocolate milk. I tasted no coffee and no coconut. This was a waste of $10.

I stumbled upon this establishment on my visit to Salem and kept coming back. The coffee is good, the food offerings are creative and delicious, but my favorite part of the establishment was the people. The regulars that come in and the staff that work there are great people.

The girls were very rude and curt to me. Im not sure why they dislike me, but every time Ive gone in, they have treated me with an attitude. Never a great start to my day when I go here. I usually drive further to get better service.

Got the special coffee of the day and a scone. Service was quick but a little cold. Coffee was hot but the scone wasnt my favorite, a bit too dry for my liking. Inside seating looked a bit crowded and it wasnt terribly cozy.

Break Point is super tasty and the baristas are really friendly and knowledgeable about their products. A great place to grab a cup of sweet delicious coffee to go or to cozy up with your laptop or a book and stay a while.

I came into town for an appointment and had time to kill so stopped in here. It was adorable and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the drink I ordered was. The pastry and bagel sandwich were good as well.

Good independent coffee house with a drive through. Be for warned that if you order food, it will be quite a wait. Specialty coffees and muffins are consistently fast and delicious.

All the cops hang out there. That must say something. I once got a sandwich there with mold on it and they quickly replaced it (but didnt give me my money back).
