This is a nice place. The food is fresh and well made. They claim to be fast and I was one of the first guys in the door when they opened. I really like the food and I like the concept, but they have burned me once on speed, saying they were fast. They were quick to comp me a pizza that one time, but two times since I have walked up with lines and opted not to risk it. I look forward to going back when they are a bit more settled and have the machine rolling smoothly. By all means go, try them out. Just dont be in a hurry as it can be hit or miss if they will have it done in a speedy fashion. I will update this review again in a month and see if they have the kinks worked out on their speed. I am looking forward in some variety for my meal when heading to work.

Pizza was good, though I dont believe my pizza was an actual Mod sized pizza. My wife ordered a Mod sized and it was twice as big as mine. I asked if it was the correct size after paying and the guy gave me a spiel about certain pizzas pressing differently but "its all the same sized dough". If I wanted a smaller size, I would have asked for one. The associate looked at my wife like she was stupid when she asked her if she heard that we both wanted a Mod size as she was making the pizzas. If you are going to have an attitude and dont want to work there then dont. Its not my first time at a Mod so I know how it works. My wife and I order the Mod sized pizza all of the time and one is never twice as big as the other.

I am a big fan of the Mod. I love every pizza Ive ordered. Super fresh, an affordable price, service is always pleasant. Mod offers an amazing assortment of delicious toppings! It is awesome they offer such a variety, and there is no extra charge no matter how many you add. I order my standard favorite Mediterranean veggies; havent chosen meat yet. Im not crazy about pesto, but decided to give it a try. Oh my gosh! Glad I made the switch from red sauce. I adore gourmet pizza, and these guys/ladies deliver! My favorite pizza joint in all of Portland, and trust me, I am super picky. Go Mod!!! They are genuinely wanting to please their customers. I wonder if there is a public offering of stock?

WOW! This joint is great. Went there last night without knowing anything about Mod Pizza. Create your own 11" pizza, all toppings included (and they have alot to choose from), for $7.47. They fire the pizzas old brick oven style, so the cust comes out nice and crispy. The service was great. They undercharged us by mistake. We went back to have them run our card again for the difference but they declined and apologized for the inconvenience. Then proceeded to give us two drinks on the house. I recommend this place to anyone who likes pizza at a great price with exceptional service.

Overall, very solid for NW pizza. Thin crust, a HUGE amount of available toppings, reasonable pricing ($7.17 for all the toppings you can fit on an 11 inch personal pizza), and lots of high quality toppings. Theres nothing really super fast about this place, pizzas take 8-10 minutes to bake no matter what. I dont know what the company is trying to accomplish by saying they are "fast", but im pretty sure they arent faster than physics..a pizza has got to cook.. All else aside, very tasty, and better than most of the pizza offered around the west side.

You build your own pizza similar to how Subway does sandwiches. cool new concept. service was friendly and quick. the personal pizzas were surprisingly inexpensive. laid back pizza joint. I did find the red pizza sauce to be bland, but you can add a couple seasonings at the end of the line. mozzarella cheese was nice and stretchy which I like. I wish the crust rose up/bubbled more and it was left in the oven a bit longer for a crisper crust. Definitely not the best pizza Ive had, but will be back soon to see what new creation I can "mod"!

It was my first time dining here and I was pleased with my experience. The staff was very friendly. The modern industrial type interior is cool. I added bacon and mama lils peps to a seasonal pizza with a side caeser that I doctored up as well. Got a fountain drink to try out their homemade teas and lemonades, they were on point. Quality stuff but be prepared to spend upwards of 15 bucks if you plan to get their 11-incher with a drink and side salad.

Being gluten-free I come here a lot. They have the best gluten-free crust in my opinion. But I feel like their quality and service has slowly gotten worse and worse since they opened. Frequently burned edges on pizza, and half the staff seems annoyed Im ordering. I go in enough though that Ive learned which staff members I can trust with my order.

This place is pretty good. You can build a pretty gourmet pizza for a really good price. They have a lot of toppings sauces and cheeses to choose from. The best thing is they dont charge you for adding toppings. They also make the pizzas on a wood stone oven. And it only takes about 10min for the pizza to bake. Will definitely be going back.

Im not sure if I went to MOD Pizza on an off day or something, but my experience was fair. The service was unenthusiastic at best, the tables were not clean and the pizza was just OK. The decor was underwhelming and felt cheap. I had high hopes for this successful chain from Washington, but my first experience left me unimpressed.

Great Pizza. We eat here often. Great food and great customer service. They make your pizza right in front of you. You tell them what you want on it. They dont charge you extra for extra. They have a pretty good Gluten-free option and Dairy-free cheese, so I can have pizza again. This place is very family friendly and affordable.

Great food, friendly staff. Choose from pre-designed pizzas or completely create your own with unlimited toppings. They also have several fun house fountain drinks (exs: vintage lemonade, raspberry something, caramelized pear tea). With no line, its a quick, fun meal. But it does get busy during lunch hour, so plan ahead.

My husband and I just ate here last week and it was the best pizza theyve served so far. I dont know what it was, it was just over-the-top delicious. Service was great...I know the time varies depending on how busy it is, but we received our pizzas in maybe 5 minutes. They are so friendly here, highly recommend it!

Line staff very rude and dont listen to what you ask for. They dont even look up while making your food. Tanasbourne location is much better and they are really polite. As a person whos worked in the food and customer service industry, in the same style of restaurant, it was disappointing.

I thought Id have to give up MOD pizza when I went vegan, but not only do they offer a vegan cheese option (as well as vegan crusts and sauces) they took the time during the height of their Friday night dinner rush to switch gloves when they did my pizza! Thank you for keeping mod awesome!
