I hadnt been in this store since I was a teenager back in the mid 1970s. My mother and I lived acrossed the street from the store and had a charge account with the store. And my mother had a previous account with them in the early 60s. I remember the older gentleman who owned the store and his son who was named Bob I think. The son was a real friendly tall man. Very fond memories of this store and was really surprised to see that it is still open! Although Im sure the older guy and his son are long-since gone.

I actually loved the food here. The people are very nice also. I went a few times for lunch. Why the low rating? After a couple of times there, I made the mistake of visiting their restroom. All I can say is it was so disgusting that it will keep me from every eating there again because I know the servers have to use it. The worst I have ever seen!

So exspensive i had the turkey sandwhich that had banana peppers it was served on a tiny croissant. The banana pepper juice made the croissant soggy it just wasnt a good combo. It sounds good but it wasnt and it cost me 10 bucks for the tiny thing. This place is overrated

Nestled into a campus neighborhood...a hidden gem. Award-winning Gumbo along with fresh, made-to-order sandwiches and homemade cookies....yummmmmm! The owner and staff made it feel like we were special guests. Our first visit....definitely not our last!

Outstanding sandwiches. Personally prefer "The Vulcan" or "The Coach". Environment is very casual and fun: lots of trinkets from Norman, OK history adorn the establishment and I love the fact people can write on the walls.

Pricey, but worth it in my opinion! Around $10 a sandwich, yeah, but these arent sandwiches you make at home. Every single ingredient is fresh and high quality. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful!
