I worked for Green Acres Market at 21st and Maize Rd for a short time. Everything was going absolutely divine until Joe, the Regional Manager (if he can actually call himself that) decided to hire Kelley as an assistant manager. Mind you, Kelley had been fired from her former job for accessing private employee files against regulations and she is completely off the beaten path in how common respect should be maintained in the workplace. She made the environment completely hostile with condescending notes and hissed orders as she was physically shoving you around the store, completing the tasks assigned to her specifically. While I talked to the store manager, Aubrey, about the discomfort I, and other employees felt in the presence of Kelley, she decided I was therefore unfit to work at Green Acres because management > staff. What really is the kicker though, is when Aubrey and Joe decided to terminate me, they couldnt explicitly tell me why I was being terminated and even sought lies to validate the fact they were firing me because Kelley did not care for me, as I had repeatedly asked her to please be respectful. They made up lies such as customer complaints and use of cell phone, although I had never been addressed with these issues nor written up. Poor management all around and I will be sincerely sorry when Joe runs this business into the ground because he cant fulfill "regional management" duties and keep a decent staff. Other than that, Barb and John Hoffmann, the owners, are very greedy and have employed a full staff who are neither knowledgeable nor taught and emphasized to how customer service ought to work. Sad!

this review is for Green Acres stores located at 21st and Maize and 21st and Amidon. The former Whole Foods had knowledgeable employees. Once Green Acres took over, the former employees are all gone and the present clerks do not know anything about the products they are selling, nor can they find the product that I asked for (it was on the store shelf). Some products are not available, when I asked if it could be made available (I bought it a few months ago at their store) and left my name and phone number, I never heard from them again either way. Especially the stores employees near 21st and Amidon Street are totally uninformed, they do not even know how to use the cash register (evidently they did not receive formal training).

Their selection of fresh, organic foods is nothing short of fantastic. I was in town on a business trip and wanted to make sure I ate healthy while on the road. The staff there are amazing and made me feel right at home. I will definitely stop in again if I am in town.

I think they have a decent selection...but pricey. Plus didnt seem to have service other stores in town have. Found more products for a lot less elsewhere....Rather drive a bit farther and get everything I need...plus a bit more!
