Its a great little grocery store that has unique offerings from mostly the Middle East. Great tea selection, olive & pickle bar, fresh flat breads, deli counter, prepared food counter featuring delicious Greek and Middle Eastern food. They recently built a charming dining room to eat from their take out counter. Its hidden over to the right of the entrance. The dining area is well lit, has tables and counters with stools to eat from. They also had complimentary lemon water and condiments on the tables. Its a lovely store to explore and the shop keeper is one of its attraction-always helpful with information about any of the unusual products.

I drove by this place time and again, each time saying "Ill go there some time". Well- after 3 years in the neighborhood I finally flipped the car around and went back to do that. It smelled good when I walked in, it had charming music... and it had $1.99 superlong flatbread. They had a bunch of cheese that I was tempted by (lots of feta: awesome) but skipped over for now. I did get the flatbread though, along with a tube of hobnobs (cookies) and Russian potato salad. I have since eaten some of the flat bread, 2 cookies and taste tested the salad. Its delicious.

The chicken shawarma wrap is awesome & the salads, tabouli & baba ganoush are fresh & delicious. Enjoy shopping for very reasonably priced grocery odds & ends (I didnt know I needed this 5lb bag of fava beans or this bag of dried limes...) while I wait for my wrap.

Great Mediterrean Grocery Store, Bakery, Deli. Variety of food items available to cook new recipes. Spices and Dry Goods can be purchased in larger affordable quantities than most grocery stores. I enjoy the delis Chicken Shawarma Gyros and Namouri from the bakery.

The owner is great, hes Syrian and loves his business. You can find the most basic middle eastern staples and rarities, like Haloumi Cheese. The falafel is the best, too. I add a Kibbeh ball and Hommus for perfection. Pita bread is homemade daily.

Great little Mediterranean market on Burnet, with great pitas and other random ingredients you wont find elsewhere. In the back theres an awesome little wrap shop. The shwarma is fantastic but the falafel is actually not very interesting.

Always a good sign when half the labels have no English, and the other half may as well have no English. Way cool importer. Great baklava, too. Its always busy and the staff isnt very patient but thats the price you pay.

Didnt get a whole lot from the store, but it seemed like a convenience store for Mediterranean and general middle east type goods. Also had a delicious deli where they were serving made to order sandwiches.

I love their sandwiches here! Mom and pop Mediterranean Grocery that has been a local business in Austin for upwards of 30 years!! Go there and enjoy the local, Austin vibe and family feel!!

Best gyro meat in Austin; only 3.99 also. The dolmas are spectacular. Be sure to add hummus to your gyro, well worth the .50cents. If you want a few pounds of gyro meat, call it in ahead.
