I have frequented House Of Sun on only two occasions, prior to the one that has earned the bad review. The first, was when I went to a late Christmas dinner with my father. We both enjoyed the Sweet and Sour chicken. One year later, I paid another visit to House of Sun, and ordered Chicken Lo Mein (It was also wonderful), however; my most recent visit left a lot to be desired. To start, they were unaware that I had placed on online order, so I had to wait a couple of minutes. This wouldnt have been a bother, except for the fact that I ended up receiving cold food. Not only was it cold, but there was barely any vegetables or "chicken" in my dish. In fact, the "chicken was greyish on color, and they were "diced", which would cause me to question the exact meat that was used. I was so disgusted that I ended up throwing the entire dish in the trash. From now on, I will stick with China Moon in Blue Ash.

This place normally has some major dishes as part of their lunch specials, and this place is perfect for lunch. Theyre lunch menu is incredibly affordable, and yummy, and filling. You get your choice of soup, a chicken wing, egg roll, crab rangoon plus your dish with rice. You need to ask for chopsticks, as this place doesnt have the cheapo wooden one, they have real chopsticks. Their hot tea is delicious as well. The staff is a little chatty with each other, and sometimes it can be a pain to get refills (with the hot tea they give you the whole darned pot!) but other than that, its not too shabby for a lunch spot.

Ive been to China...food here is nothing like how it is on the mainland. For example: meat there= real; meat at House of Sun = rubbery; flavor there= true; flavor at House of Sun = 0... Terrible waitress...she had an attitude because she actually had customers to serve(the customers, btw, probably dont have taste buds; theyre just the masses pouring in, proud smiles on their faces [for being cultured], and eating fried foods doused in sugary sauces)

So, so good. Its hard to talk hubby in to going to Chinese places for dinner - he doesnt like it! But I brought him here and it was a huge hit. All the food is made fresh, you can tell it hasnt been sitting in the back for a while. They have THE BEST Taiwanese Noodle soup youve ever had - its good for Chinese food newbies too. We have no problem driving 15 miles to get to this place because its worth it every time.

Clearly caters too/popular with Chinese clientele. 2 menus one (white) standard "American Chinese" fare. Other menu (pink/by request) "Chinese traditional menu" - see photos. The maite d and 2 waitresses were polite, business like and attentative - service is very quick. What Ive tried from the "American Chinese" menu is good but not great. The live lobster and tilapia in tanks are not decorative.

House of Sun is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town. Its lunch menu has a great variety of dishes at very reasonable prices. They also offer an authentic Chinese menu, including more traditional Chinese and Taiwanese dishes, you will not run out of good food to try. The service is also friendly. It is an all-around good dining experience.

POC beware this place will not provide you good service and will give you cold food. I have visited this place on several different occasions, to see if they were just having a bad day the time before. Unfortunately its always the same Rude and you will get cold. They will not get anymore of my money!!!

Very small chinese place, but great bang for your buck. They have a lunch menu, with most items under $6, and every item includes a choice of soup along with one springroll and one crab rangoon. The food tastes alright like any a takeout chinese restaurant, but the price will keep me coming back.

great food, and reasonable prices. i recommend getting the lunch, as it is about half the price of a dinner, with just a much food. the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, but i prefer to do takeout. nothing like crashing in front of the tv with a good chinese meal.

The family staff is very pleasant. We love the atmosphere here - very down to earth. On this trip the food was excellent - well prepared, served hot (just right). This is not to say that other trips were not excellent, this was just "more special"

Been going here for years, and the food is always great. They can accommodate both small and large parties, and is a favorite location for dinners with my family. The interior is beautiful, as is their food. They have the best fried tofu.

This is my favorite place to get Chinese food in the area. My advice is to order off of the pink menu. The pink menu has the traditional food and not the Americanized stuff that most people think is real Chinese food.

Great Taiwanese breakfast on Saturday. Highly recommend the special pork bun (gua bao). Good traditional Chinese food as well. If you dont go with an Asian you have to ask for the traditional menu (I think its pink).

Service was fast and ladies were nice..... But the food was completely tasteless and bland. For the money they are charging I expected it to be the best Ive ever had. So very dissapointed.

Inexpensive lunch menu with good quality food. Soup, spring roll, rice (fried or white) and an entree for ~ $6. One of the better Chinese restaurants in the area.

Traditional chinese breakfast, not dim sum. Good food and good prices. Things like bao zhi, dumplings, you tiao, soybean tofuish thing.
